Despite that, Naniwa played really well and it shows he can compete with the best.

Still Naniwa should have killed the tech, would have won him the game. Better player lost there imho. Naniwa's control was outstanding, Leenock was smart though. Leenock played better early-game, about even mid-game and NaNiWa better late-game in my opinion.

He was getting taken apart all game and Leenock had a bad engagement, overextending into storms and it allowed Naniwa back into the game.

All he built in the end were zerglings and banelings. Naniwa could've taken out the Hive and the Greater Spire but what would have been the point? I don't understand why the commentators keep emphasizing this point. As soon as Naniwa started working on the tech Leenock would've just started rebuilding them and it would've bought him time to make a bigger army as well. The point would have been to do something. If he wasn't out to kill the tech, then why did he move towards the main base anyways? The mains were already mined out. It's not about taking out tech over taking out the economy. It's about either instead of just running back and forth while letting the advantage slip away.

The zerg tree doesn't allow the rebuilding of everything that fast. He kills teh Hive nest spawning pool spire infestation pit and ya Leenock coulda rebuilt em but it woulda taken 5 minutes. 5 minutes of no units basiclly insures a win for naniwa
