Winter has finally come, it's time for eGG-one to launch the eOSL Winter 2012 !
Those who don't know what the eOSL is may want to look here First : Liquipedia eOSL.
The tournament is sponsored by Winamax once again. Because they will be focusing of the organisation, KroK and aspeak won't be casting anymore. They are replaced by the experienced caster Anoss who will be joined by different people, such as Growiel and Pouilleux in the course of the event. The casting will be in French.
Format
The top 8 players from eOSL Summer 2011 are qualified for the Winter edition :  Stephano,  AureS, Origine, hG, TuZeR and SarenS. Laukyo is disqualified and  ToD isn't available, that brings the total of pre-qualified players to six.
The tournament is now open to the nearby French speaking countries. We will be announcing the name of two players that weren't able to be in the previous editions. They will open the Way to Belgianand Swiss players !
Six players are going to be able to qualify via two online tournaments, where the top 3 of each is qualified : the eOSL Open Series. The winner of each qualifier also takes home 50€.
The last two players will be choosen by the public during a "100% SC2" broadcast.
Finals
The finals are going to be a Classic single elimination bracket, all in BO3 with the 16 players. The placement will be once again done during "100% SC2".
The finals and third place match will happen Offline, in France.

I kind of let this post died for a lot of reasons but i'll update the OP when the final results are known.
The finals are played today with a live audience in Paris. Anoss will be casting, as always.
Sadly, I won't be there, too busy with the Korean Weeklys nowadays.

Stephano didn't really play like himself the last day or two, but other than that he has been the same old unbeatable Steph. If he is that part of himself tonight as well, then this will be a very uneven finals, Sarens highest level play isn't exactly on par with his opponent here :/

A tourney with this high of a prize pool and at least 1 well-known player should easily get to 10+ pages. i'm assuming you're doing this for some long-run profit, but if it's just for fun and sustainability isn't an issue, then please ignore :D

On the language: Everyone but the English speaking peoples (USA included -^) borrow English words for computer (game) stuff. For me, talking about games in Dutch, using Dutch translations of game related words, would be rather awkward. Even the Germans' dubbing of video games, which they do extensively and expensively, is extremely tacky and almost as bad as their translating of film titles ^^ But to be honest, for my national self respect I'm very glad most Germans never heard a Dutch dubbing (they do exist, de horreur :/)

To be fair as a french I prefer English casting (as in french casting they tend to use words that sounds horribly). I don't mute the sound but it(s not really that)
But I do understand the tournament, it's a tournament for french (only french and suiss players) in french, so I guess it's kinda ok to have one's stream in french. I bet their sponsors are french too :D.

they lowered the ingame settings, not realizing the lags comes from dailymotion, because it's just dailymotion and no one should ever stream anything wiht it until they get better
the stream quality is fine, quite good even, but you can't choose the resolution/quality and it will always be stuttering
