Not at all. Archons have generally been considered the counter, not colossus. I've rarely heard of people advising to go colossus vs that style, Templar tech has always been the go to composition. In fact, I even recall a GSL interview on a Protoss (I believe it was a Chinese one who won vs IdrA) where they asked why he went Colossus vs the baneling style which is uncommon, and the Protoss responded that he felt you just needed some form of splash, and that both Colossus and Archons/Storms work. However, Mana didn't even go heavy Colossus, he was building like 3 of them... | ||
