BoxeR vs Foxer
Way I see it:
Straight up, with no strange strategies, MKP will take down BoxeR. He just has more experience in that area.
But
If BoxeR pulls what he did against Virus and throw in strategies that MKP has never seen or is not used to seeing, BoxeR will catch MKP off guard just like he did with Virus and can win against him.
However
MKP can also do the exact same thing. And pull off some strange out of the blue strategy and kill BoxeR unexpectedly.
So all in all: my heart says BoxeR, my brain says MKP, my mind says BoxeR, my head says MKP......

Wow Hero falls in Code A again....

I meant I wanted them both to advance. Obviously it was not possible.

I'm really glad to see DRG, MKP, and BoxeR advancing, but too bad HerO couldn't make it as well.

hero still has a chance in the up/downs right?

He let an emp hit his four clumped HTs in the first engagement and went down 70 food. Then ASD made the brilliant decision to attack up the ramp on Antiga's third and traded his army for two nexus. Hero didn't need the base as much as he needed time to get mass ht and colossus and finish upgrading. ASD losing his whole army gave him this time. In the second game, Hero had too many probes in addition to leaving around 10 stalkers in ASD's base to harass during their main engagement. ASD's army was very small and bulky (maxed thors with a few scv, banshee and marine). Hero engaged this in a choke instead of in the open or near ASD'd base. If HerO had engaged that army in the middle of belshir where he zealots can surround the thors, while feedbacking, storming and focus firing the thors with immortals that battle would have gone better, he could have even won. More importantly that would buy him time to remax and utilize his 3 base advantage. Get more zealots, more immortals and allow hts to get back to 75 energy. Game 3, he went for the phoenix build he uses every PvT I've seen on Dual site. ASD went reactor expo into 3 rax. Hero uncharacteristically lost a couple phoenix very sloppily. He also allowed a few units to get picked aside from the phoenix. When you're behind from the build you chose there is no room for error. He played well, but playing from behind and making a few small mistakes often times spells a loss against a very good opponent. Genius vs July was not even close. Genius could not deal with the muta + roach combos july through against him. And well...squirtle doesn't impress overall.
There was also Inca but i don't think anybody expected him to actually beat Taeja then he proceeded to make gigantic blunders in both games and lost extremely convincingly.

Hope he destroys his next opponent too and advances to Code S. Overall, I'm really happy with todays results, pretty much everyone I wanted (Boxer, Supernova, asd, Taeja, MKP) advanced. Cool stuff. Not really owning HerO up, dude, also HerO is traveling alot playing alot of tournaments, and asd is only sitting in Korea. And his next oponent is NesTea, so gf asd. Sounds like you are mad or sth oO Win is a win, I hate people making excuses because their favourite player lost. Also asd is playing really well since like 3 GSL's ago, and I feel like he has a really good shot beating Nestea who is in a slump. NesTea is not in a slump. You can make excuses for all his recent losses.

Wow, ForGG's first three series in the GSL will have been a TvP, TvT, and TvZ. Talk about testing his skill. He won't disappoint though.
Can't wait!

Ye, InCa played quite badly in both games and used really uninspired builds with meh decision making against one of the best terran's in the world >.> not gonna fly
(although he had a chance to take game 1 but that blunder lol)

Especially considering taeja is very good at TvP. And he's very young too(only 16). Makes me very happy knowing that there are talent coming from SC2 instead of BW pros switching over. :D

asd is pretty awesome. Débuts in Code A and forces his way into Code S in one season through precise builds and plays. I hope he retains Code S this season. Or climbs out of Code A, sorry, technicality. He is totally overlooked compared to other undeserving players who keep falling at Code A. (I didn't mean Hero by that last sentence)

I just want to say, whenever Boxer touches a mouse and keyboard, it should be considered a work of art. Also, I went 14/16 on my Ro32 Liquibets :D:D

There's the golden rule, don't cheese MKP. He will have seen it among his thousands upon thousands of ladder games, tried it himself, and will crush you in the unexpected micro wars. Exception: Mvp.

Somehow MVP always is the exception...
