Playing risky is what got Seiplo here. I'm glad it backfired at some point

What's funny is that people say that GSL > foreign tournaments because they involve a lot of player specific preparation, yet bash a player because he can't get into Code A. Do people realize what kind of tournament the Code A qualifier is...? Yeah well, that's true, but pretty much every good player has managed to qualify. It's hell in that qualifier, but good players have managed to consistently overcome hell. we don't even know how many times puma has tried to qualify for the gsl. for all we know as of now, he's only tried to qualify for the most recent one. losing one best of 3 to a top 30 gm zerg is nothing to be ashamed about. which is why i say wait for him get into gsl and let him prove himself whether is he dat good or just average before deciding

He had more workers and more units in a matchup where it's very hard to pull ahead of your opponent, and the DT put him into a winning position. That's called outplaying. Not placing a robo when being so far ahead was his single mistake. One mistake doesn't mean you didn't outplay someone., win or lose.

Seiplo goes DT against robo tech and gets lucky -> wow Seiplo is so smart! HerO sees that Seiplo has no detection and goes robo and kills Seiplo -> wow Seiplo is so unlucky!

Plus, Hero made a calculated risk by having an observer over Seiplo whereas Seiplo took more of a blind risk and hoped Hero didn't already have an observer.

They either do, or don't. Seiplo played a great game and I agree that he outclassed HerO in a lot of aspects but HerO did read him and the situation like a book and took his only chance to come back, it worked. So tell me why exactly Seiplo did deserve the win then? Its stupid to say I'm sorry. There's no such thing as deserving things in eSports and 1v1.

Hero was lucky because Seiplo should have had some kind of detection, it is either a pretty amateurish mistake or a choice that is very risky. Either way, a top player like Seiplo should have had detection, and he didn't, and that gives Hero a lucky win after initially being outplayed because Seiplo choose to play incredibly risky.
