What's funny is that people say that GSL > foreign tournaments because they involve a lot of player specific preparation, yet bash a player because he can't get into Code A. Do people realize what kind of tournament the Code A qualifier is...? There is a big difference between saying PuMa is not top 3/5 Terran and saying he is bad for qualifying for code A. Personally I think both groups of people who say that are idiots. Right now I can probably name 15+ Terrans who I strongly think are better than PuMa and maybe another 10 who I think are probably better, but I haven't seen PuMa play against players of their level to be sure. The thing about PuMa is he is better than almost all foreigners, but he mostly loses to the top Koreans. Sure he can take a game off most players, but that doesn't make him better, and until we see him play against code A and bottom code S players we can't be sure where he lies in the gap between 'better than most white people' and 'worse than best players'.

Poor Seiplo, played a great game, but you just can't play without observers in any matchup really.

GG!!! LiquidHerO fighting!!!
|
@TeamLiquidLIVE TL Live Report Nerchio made roaches, Ret made mutas, Nerchio killed the third, Ret killed the main. 1-0 for Ret.
|
That's not lucky. That's the other player playing risky.
|
how can you not have a robo at that stage

Too greedy by Seiplo ~~ I knew it'd bite him in the ass eventually.
|
|
Seiplo's PvP does look quite impressive, but got greedy without even a forge. Well read from HerO.

Outplaying Hero and losing because of stupid decision to not get any detection. Why does so many toss fail with that?

Now, you will pay for your lack of vision!

Hell yes Her0 good composure, lets go game 2 :D

THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR THE SOLO CASTING TLO! THANK YOU!! RET FIGHTING!@!

Such PvP are really fun to watch I must admit.

I wish Z had DT
It's like a free win 10% of the time when you are losing if your opponent is being greedy.
|
can't bs a bs'er. cant dt a dt'er :D
|
How can seiplo be said to outplay hero if hero outsmarted and outcontrolled him? I think day9 is being too favoured towards seiplo here.

He's very good, but I wouldn't consider him one of the top pro's yet. There is a lot of division between the players.
PuMa finishes just outside that top group.
I quote an earlier post

He beat Losira then Bomber last MLG and ended up losing to Idra last MLG. In Orlando he took out Polt. At Guangzhou, he took out JYP before losing to Idra. At Raleigh he beat Nada in Pool Play. And he knocked out Alive and Clide in NASL Open, before beating Squirtle, July and MC in the finals, and also beat MC in the finals of Cologne.
He beats a lot of good Koreans in foreign tournaments.
Ya that is very lackuster set of names he beat right there >.>, while i am not saying he is better then some of those names mentioned sans MVP and MMA they have done nothing definitive to put them ahead of puma. So i stand by my point that puma is up there with the pack.
