Please stop the tournament comparison discussion. Especially regarding players their runs (Stephano seems to be the current topic). Stay on topic and stick to the games. Consequences will be met out to further derailment. In addition leave the usual out of this topic: -Balance complaints -Map complaints -Stream complaints -Caster/player bashing -Off topic discussions Logically continue this list with things that are obviously frowned upon. Enjoy the free and wonderful event with loads of games and coverage!

What he said was that IF Cloud won vs Stephano, Naniwa is out regardless, which is not correct.

ClouD beat Naniwa 2-1, but Naniwa has better +/-. Who advances? First is map score. If map score is tied, head to head applies. Head to head is irellevant here anyway, even if the map scores were equivalent. In case naniwa wins three players are 2-1. Naniwa will have beaten sheth, sheth has beaten Claud and Claud has beaten Naniwa.

If head-to-head score trumps total mapdifference, TitaN would've been first in his group. So mapdifferential trumps head-to-head score afaik. Or they have to have changed the rules from one group phase to another, which seems unlikely.

Who advances? It's +/- first, then internal match. If Naniwa wins this game, he will advance. The groups are decided in the following order: points, maps +/-, internal match. In case of a three-way-tie of the previous criteria internal maps +/- will decide. Source: http://www.dreamhack.se/dhw11/files/2011/11/DHW11-StarCraftIIRulebook-1.1.pdf

He didn't say anything wrong from his perspective. No he's wrong It's based on mapscore not head to head edit: I'm not crazy. MB didn't know the result of Cloud-Stephano. Hence, he didn't know cloud's mapscore or set score.
