Please stop the tournament comparison discussion. Especially regarding players their runs (Stephano seems to be the current topic). Stay on topic and stick to the games. Consequences will be met out to further derailment.
In addition leave the usual out of this topic:
-Balance complaints -Map complaints -Stream complaints -Caster/player bashing -Off topic discussions
Logically continue this list with things that are obviously frowned upon. Enjoy the free and wonderful event with loads of games and coverage! |

No, if Nani wains he is 5-3.

Can somebody who actually knows the rules confirm if it's +/- or their respective match that breaks the tie?
ClouD beat Naniwa 2-1, but Naniwa has better +/-. Who advances?

Wrong. If Nani wins he moves on and Cloud is out.

Mrbitter is not aware (or chose to play dumb) about the Cloud vs Stephano results. He didn't say anything wrong from his perspective.

Wouldn't have mattered. There were only about 10 roaches there. The most he would have got is a couple of sentries. The decision to target the Nexus was what killed him.
Nani split his roaches into 20-20 groups, and Nani wasted all of his forcefields on the Roaches on the Nexus. Those roaches would've been unphased as they took down the Collosi and the Sentries, there was no mitigation. It would've mattered, whether it meant Sheth won right there or if Nani couldn't counter.

From the rules Tiebreakers ● The groups are decided in the following order: points, maps +/-, internal match. In case of a three-way-tie of the previous criteria internal maps +/- will decide. So nani will advance if he wins vs sheth. Rules: http://www.dreamhack.se/dhw11/files/2011/11/DHW11-StarCraftIIRulebook-1.1.pdf

If Nani win, it's a 3-way tie and naniwa and sheth advance for map score.
Am i wrong?

ClouD beat Naniwa 2-1, but Naniwa has better +/-. Who advances? First is map score. If map score is tied, head to head applies.
