Please stop the tournament comparison discussion. Especially regarding players their runs (Stephano seems to be the current topic). Stay on topic and stick to the games. Consequences will be met out to further derailment.

In addition leave the usual out of this topic:

-Balance complaints
-Map complaints
-Stream complaints
-Caster/player bashing
-Off topic discussions

Logically continue this list with things that are obviously frowned
upon. Enjoy the free and wonderful event with loads of games and coverage!

It really should have been obvious that Stephano wasn't going to do well in this tournament unless he got lucky with his bracket like he normally does. He doesn't have any real determination it seems and you can really only keep falling if you don't have any determination. The only thing keeping him going is money, and that just isn't good enough of a reason to be able to keep up.


The kid has won three major tournaments, all which had strong Koreans in attendence.
You can't take ANYTHING away from him unless he goes on a 6+ month massive slump


Strong Koreans which he didn't have to play (Barring MKP IN ESWC). Alive, boxer and stc all beat him down while he defeated...Inori and Lucky...

Please do not cite the IPL qualifiers, they were online

Not always a fan of the 2 rax but this is a brilliant move by Puma. Just needs to take the one map and hes safe so may as well give the good ol cheese a try

Even if Sheth 2-0s Nani, and Stephano 2-0s ClouD, the map score will put Nani ahead:

Naniwa 1-2 (3-4)
Stephano 1-2 (2-4)
ClouD 1-2 (2-5)

Stephano is doomed.

Even if Nani loses 2-0 and Stephano wins 2-0, Nanis mapscore will be better, because he lost the game vs Cloud 1-2, whereas Stephano lost both games 0-2.
So we don't have a tree way tie, because of mapscore. Stephano is out.

Why do so many people hate Stephano and just love seeing him fail? I know there are a lot of idiots on this forum, but it seems like Stephano gets it worse than most. Is it a bunch of angry IdrA fanboys mad at the fact that Stephano has won three major tourneys and nearly twice the prize money and is talked up as the best foreign zerg and clinging to every time he loses as proof idrA is better? I don't get it.

Isn't it based on win/loss amount of rounds? Stephano is out, If Nani loses 1-2 he will advance if Cloud lose aswell. However i don't know what ranks higher in placement, but round w/l should matter more than internal meeting.

Aswell as the EG group. If Orly wins 2-0 and Puma wins 2-0 we got a 3-way tie.

Stephano is way to easy to figure out, he plays with massive macro advantage to make his sub-part unit combo work-> all he need to is to fake the mass roach into 10-14 mutas and pwn, like most of the zergs beat protoss. Or specifically against Naniwa, baneling drops, roach ling drops in main while posturing front. ^^

HOLY CRAP!! I am just getting in and looking at the scores... Sheth 2-0ed stephano? As much as I like Stephano it is awesome seeing the nicest player in the world is getting better at Z v Z. I remember during his charity marathon he didn't win a single game against stephano at the start or end of the stream so I am stoked to see he is improving... gratz Sheth and better luck next time Stephano, Can't win em all
