Please stop the tournament comparison discussion. Especially regarding players their runs (Stephano seems to be the current topic). Stay on topic and stick to the games. Consequences will be met out to further derailment.
In addition leave the usual out of this topic:
-Balance complaints -Map complaints -Stream complaints -Caster/player bashing -Off topic discussions
Logically continue this list with things that are obviously frowned upon. Enjoy the free and wonderful event with loads of games and coverage! |

There is no bias other than that the world decides
Names from 2 hats - 1st place group finishers in one, 2nd placers in the other.

3 of the koreans in the race for the same spot in the quarterfinals. Bracket couldn't be worse.

Yup, I most likely will be asleep considering PL starts today. :D

Being live at dreamhack to watch these games is really nice. Being able to see the pro gamers and casters in real life makes it much more interesting to follow them online when dreamhack is finished.

Are you suggesting they should make the bracket based on nationality or are you just whining?

I wouldn't be surprised if there are no Terrans in the Quarter Finals
|
Haha, I doubt anyone is happy with this draw

Wait, is it true that the winner of Dreamhack gets one of the Up and Down seeds for GSL November?
I heard someone talk about it on SOTG when they were discussing who was going to win Dreamhack.

White-Ra is certainly favored against Naama, but Puma should beat Genius I would think.

There is no bias other than that the world decides What kind of hat? Too bad no top hat. :/ but TB was there, why didn't he bring his top hat?! this is rigged i tell ye, r i g g e d Show nested quote +On November 26 2011 09:07 Grend wrote: Lol just realized that r16, may contain only one p if all p lose thir matches :-)
no way we already established P is absolutely OP at this point of the metagame Oh right forgot the memo for a moment there :-P My impression is that it is really hard to predict really. No clear favourites and it all depends alot on who ends up playing who and what races advances etc. Some players aeem to be alot bettr at some of the matchups than others so it is kind of hard to predict what will happen.

All I was saying is that I personally consider foreigner vs korean games more interesting then foreigner vs foreigner or korean vs korean.
Korean vs korean is what we have the GSL for, foreigner vs foreigner is what the weekly cups are for, events like this are the coolest and most exciting when its foreigner vs korean. I think MLG pretty much proves that.

Because, maybe, unlike what every whining kid on the internet thinks, terran actually isn't the easiest race? Shocking, I know. But they have mules! I hate to say it but you don't see the top protoss players sitting with full energy nexii at the highest level unless it's the really late game where the simply have nothing left to chrono. They might pool chorono a bit to use for collusus or double forge but i don't think they purposefully sit on it.

I believe the Up/Down seeds have gone to Idra and Demuslim but there's still 1 Code S seed though (they're giving out 2 next season)
