Please stop the tournament comparison discussion. Especially regarding players their runs (Stephano seems to be the current topic). Stay on topic and stick to the games. Consequences will be met out to further derailment. In addition leave the usual out of this topic: -Balance complaints -Map complaints -Stream complaints -Caster/player bashing -Off topic discussions Logically continue this list with things that are obviously frowned upon. Except you didn't even give statistics. You just said "at MLG providence I saw lots of 2base all-ins in PvZ succeed." That sentence does not qualify as a statistic, unfortunately. If you want to believe that 2base all-ins are really successful in PvZ in tournament play then fine, but don't pretend to have statistics when you really just have anecdotal evidence. Anyway, I'm pretty disappointed in both Hero vs DRG and Sase vs Nerchio. I expected close matches in both, but they were both one-sided and depressing. | ||

Carmac was right. The casters are becoming bigger stars than the players themselves. It's definitely not good for the scene. Do they really have to introduce who they are everytime they cut out/in from commercial? "I'M DAY9, I'M MR BITTER!, I'M ARTOSIS, I'M TASTELESS!" We know who you are man. We have been following you since broodwar/GSL/MLG/etc. every tournament. We know who you are and what you look like. You do not need to remind us every chance you get. On top of that the camera is always on them. Yes it is nice to see them when they have something to say but I feel they need to split that camera time 50/50 with the players. I'm sorry I'm more interested in what Nerchio looks/sounds like. I don't know anything about the guy besides that he's a beast. This is not a hate post, if anything it's just a rant from a person who loves to watch starcraft (guess what, I don't even play this game. I play League of Legends but would rather see a Starcraft II tournament over LoL tournament ANY DAY). P.S. This is why Homestory Cup will be the greatest tournament ever until they adopt their style of player and viewer interaction. | ||
