That's wrong. If you have an upgrade or unit building in a structure when it dies, it counts as being canceled I believe. That may be what you're thinking of.

Stephano rode the hype train right into several brick walls when people (not too many admittedly) were saying he was better than Nestea, Naniwa repeatedly bombed out of Code A etc. Really the foreign scene is deeper than it looks, and nobody in it is truly better than the rest. While the Korean scene is exactly as deep as it looks and there's a few players who are emerging as the best of the best (MVP primarily, Nestea until very recently).
Imo the korean scene is still highly underrated. There's a few names I have in mind that aren't even in GSL at all who I think are legitimately better than a lot of A list foreigners and could win 50/50 against some bottom code S players.

There's a reason they added the cancel feature.

lol you don't play this game as all do you? If a building is destroyed in the middle of its construction you don't get the money back.

While this is true for upgrades and building units, it is NOT true for buildings under construction. A hatchery not cancelled is still 300 minerals lost.

Yeah. Buildings that are destroyed while constructing give 0 refund, but any units/tech that were being produced/warped in are refunded fully. Do some research before you write a paragraph long rebuttal lol.

Now all I see from terrans or zergs is " force field OP"and i am like WTF? I dont see whats wrong with the "force field OP" whine. Forget race balance for a sec and just focus on force fields. The last few weeks we saw several players flat out lose to a warp prism sentry drop because a protoss manages to sneak that warp prism into the main base and forcefields the ramp. It happened to other protosses who didnt have blink yet, it happens to terrans, it happens to zergs. The least vulnerable race to that kind of bullshit is probably terran because they usually go for medivacs anyways, but all 3 races died to that bullshit in one way or another. Forcefield is a very strong spell, and i would never want to engage in an argument about whether they are imba or not, because you just cant estimate their strength properly, given that the enemy can choose to not engage, try to bait forcefields, try to get a better concave and whatnot. The enemy can do SOMETHING to lower their strength. Forcefielding the enemy ramp however just feels incredibly broken to me, given that the risk of it not working is losing a SINGLE warp prism full of units (or even as less as a single sentry), while the reward is having an infinite amount of units in your enemies main base due to warp in. If you succesfully get the forcefield on the ramp, warp in more sentries and lock the ramp down, badgame.
you mean, Nestea, Losira, MVP, MKP - no problem, i have my imba prism drop forcefielding the ramp and i get my auto win.
if it would be broken, players like MC and other protosses would win all tournaments ez.
