The only thing you lose if you dont cancel the hatch, is the drone, but most of the time the drone would die anyways, therefore it really doesnt matter. Im pretty sure stephano knows about the full refund and therefore rightfully doesnt pay attention to something that he doesnt NEED to pay attention to. That's wrong. If you have an upgrade or unit building in a structure when it dies, it counts as being canceled I believe. That may be what you're thinking of.
Pretty much that, losing pylon power when trying to warp in units, or losing a structure with units/upgrades in production, or a carrier with interceptors in production WILL give a 100% refund. Cancelleing any of the above will also give a 100% refund. Cancelling a structure in production will give a 75% refund. Losing a structure in production without cancelling it will give a 0% refund. It's as simple as that.

It's nice that you're correcting the casters... ...problem is, they're right and you're wrong in this case. No, you get nothing refunded if you don't cancel. There's a reason they added the cancel feature.
...I meant the original post was wrong, of course you get money when cancelling and not if you don't...
