Please stop the tournament comparison discussion. Especially regarding players their runs (Stephano seems to be the current topic). Stay on topic and stick to the games. Consequences will be met out to further derailment. In addition leave the usual out of this topic: -Balance complaints -Map complaints -Stream complaints -Caster/player bashing -Off topic discussions Logically continue this list with things that are obviously frowned upon. Morrow with his IEM win -> downhill from there and ultimately switched to zerg. SjoW had an incredibly dominant period peaking with an IEM -> randomly falls out of tournaments to no name players at this point Jinro was considered one of the best terrans in the world, made top 4 in GSL twice (I think?), then suddenly started playing like shit and hasn't come close to his former play ever since. Thorzain steamrolled TSL like a motherfucking boss, but now he's hardly even a contender for good placements at big tournaments anymore. | ||

The last few weeks we saw several players flat out lose to a warp prism sentry drop because a protoss manages to sneak that warp prism into the main base and forcefields the ramp. It happened to other protosses who didnt have blink yet, it happens to terrans, it happens to zergs. The least vulnerable race to that kind of bullshit is probably terran because they usually go for medivacs anyways, but all 3 races died to that bullshit in one way or another. Forcefield is a very strong spell, and i would never want to engage in an argument about whether they are imba or not, because you just cant estimate their strength properly, given that the enemy can choose to not engage, try to bait forcefields, try to get a better concave and whatnot. The enemy can do SOMETHING to lower their strength. Forcefielding the enemy ramp however just feels incredibly broken to me, given that the risk of it not working is losing a SINGLE warp prism full of units (or even as less as a single sentry), while the reward is having an infinite amount of units in your enemies main base due to warp in. If you succesfully get the forcefield on the ramp, warp in more sentries and lock the ramp down, badgame. | ||

Why is it neccesary to choose the best players just by how they play 1/2 events?? >_> Overall people tend to focus way too much on power ranking players. Anyway, there's a break now as far as I recall they'll do the next games in like 30-45 minutes. | ||

So Nerchio is the best ? ^^ Tis was really a bad day for Stephano, he maybe wasn't prepared but wtf vs Sheth he didn't cancel his hacherys two times !!!! I never saw him doing things like that, he maybe was asleep or/and slightly drunk by the party he had yersteday xD Btw if he keeps preparing tourneys by ladderind 2h every 2 days he won't go far, comon stehano you have such a great potential but you're so lazy TT | ||
