Can you actually deny that protoss was in a sad state for awhile? They have good players and it is showing lately. They are in no way dominating and the terran complaints after a few weeks of losing key matches to them is annoying. All three races have had good results lately. GSL final 4 is balanced with 2 t a p and a z. The game is quite balanced and the stars on all three sides of it are playing well. This could be a tournament with any number of winners. Thats the way I like it

But when protoss players said they were UP and terrans OP the community had facts to talk about and whine balance was with arguments. Now all I see from terrans or zergs is " force field OP"and i am like WTF?
When white ra or hero wins a game they are not abusing a unit but are just playing better. If you want to start saying that protoss is getting OP start laying out some facts like we did with ghosts or 1-1-1.

They allow discussions on balance. Your complaining is ridiculous -_- I also assume that a fan club is the right place for what is meant as a joke despite the seriousness of their feelings at the time.

You do know that the reason peoplle were whinging about Protoss was because in fact, on charts etc it showed how much the other races in PRO GAMES trounched Protoss not basing the arguments on our games but PRO games, protoss were getting deomlished, further established in the amount of Protoss dropping from Code S. Since the patch with immortal getting buffed it picked up and now like Zerg before them started to work things out, lower level players will AWLAYS balance whine regardless if they play Zerg, Protoss or Terran. My argument in this thread and my opinion was the favourite are always going ot be the Koreans and the Korean trained foreigners and I dont take that back, only about 3-4 players who also had a chance but they all seem to be in really hard groups where in other groups they would of got through,( i mean Idra etc). ANyway some guy said it wasnt probably directed at me but at thigns in general but why post and quote me if it isnt relevant to what i said then.

I don't think people take the difference in formats into account correctly. When thorzain won TSL it was on practicing really hard on specific match-ups vs specific players. He's a very strong player, but this is not the same as preparing for a tournament with groups stages, etc.

Game 1 - Lost Temple - close spots, 1 base contain
Game 2 - quick Scrap Station game, would've been crazy not to make second CC vs protoss there.
Game 3 - Naama is gearing up for a 1 base push, sees MaNas Nexus so he responds with CC not to be totally all in with the contain.
Game 4 - Metalopolis is macro game, fine.
Game 5 - Naama 1 basing with cloaked banshee's, after taking a clear advantage he takes exp but at this point it's pretty much gg.

I agrree on everything but Group E is really tough to call :D Never write of DRG or Hero, but the if elfi wins the PvP you never know :D Only has to take a set of oen of them!

You realize that only about 4 protoss players lost in Code S but 18 terrans did? It is only balanced when you look at the end result, but ignore how it all went down. But I can already see it, Zerg won about 9 of the last 12 big tournaments, yet everyone is still mainly complaining about terran. It's getting annoying because you want to know the actual reason why there are so few terrans in the leagues from grandmaster - silver league? because people are getting sick of being insulted just because they are playing a certain race.

I was wrong in rrepvious post SaSe I think is better then nerchio, im not writing Nerchio off hes goign to come second in the group.. and if he plays well he can beat SaSe but I still think SaSe is better then both Daboo and Select(who can be hot and cold) if Select is hot and Nerchio plays well the is every chance SaSe wont get through, my opinion thought is SaSe will go through... Same as Group F I want Hero and think hero will doit after a decent run at MLG, but DRG is the favourite in that group and Sen can ebat anyone too but I have a feeling Hero will beat Sen and beat elfi in PVP. They have good players and it is showing lately. They are in no way dominating and the terran complaints after a few weeks of losing key matches to them is annoying. All three races have had good results lately. GSL final 4 is balanced with 2 t a p and a z. The game is quite balanced and the stars on all three sides of it are playing well. This could be a tournament with any number of winners. Thats the way I like it
you can quite easily deny it, upgrades got cheaper by less money than even pros float and suddenly protoss just magically does better. its offtopic enough for a tourney thread but still. so sick of hearing about up protoss :<<<
