Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:

- NO Balance Whine.
- NO Player Bashing.
- NO Caster Bashing.
- NO BM whatsoever.

Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment.

Are people forgetting that this is about $50 000? Even if it was not the most entertaining games, Leenock played to win. He saw Naniwa doing the same opening every game and punished it. Cheese or not he made the right decisions to take the win and get ALOT richer!
Was cheering for Naniwa, but after seeing Leenock go from the open bracket and playing so many good games, i think he deserves to not get bashed on.. Grats to Leenock! Great tournament!

if other loses are to be considered nani gets really upset after a loss, eg. TSL3.

I know that, but shouldn't at least the top three get mentioned at the ceremony? Maybe I'm just bitter.

Lame crowd leaving before the award ceremony was completely lame

On a better note, congratulations to MLG for a fantastic tournament!

I don't like it when the crowd leaves after the finals, i.e. they do not wait until the award ceremony is over, because that's when all the REAL cheers should be! I remember one event this year, MLG Raleigh I believe (not 100%) but at the event, the cheering during the award ceremony was so loud and magnificent it gave me chills all over my body! That's what I have felt is primarily lacking in recent MLG events, but hey what can you do!

Man, these ceremonies/celebrations at the end of these tournaments are kinda emotionless. Doesnt quite feel like someone has just won 50k. Nevertheless though, awesome MLG, lots of great matches and stories throughout. Can't wait for MLG 2012

The games were not the greatest, but Leenock played to win the game. He did the best strategy given what he saw Naniwa do in the whole tournament (on-the-fly reactive play), and used a strategy that would give him the highest chance of winning. No one can doubt that he is a smart player and he definitely deserved to win this MLG. Congrats to Leenock

So JP actually put down his guard and let that slip. He is an Eternal, bending time to suit his needs. The clues were all there from the beginning.

Can't wait for the GSL grudge match with Nestea against Naniwa (if Nestea rises up to code S or Nani drops to code A, that is).

I kinda like leenock looks like a nice and happy fellow but i hate his strategy early game, maybe it's the only way to win against naniwa at this mlg!

What else do you do against protoss Forge FE? Just let him have it? You have to be like that in the early game to punish it severely.

Taking a fast third also works very well against FFE- we've seen plenty of zergs win like that.

FFE in PvZ is as standard as hatch first in ZvT. I don't know why people are suddenly up in arms and complaining that it's insanely greedy.

Boxer beats yellOw with 3 bunker rushes, fans react with max applause and talk about it for years to come. Leenock does ZvP equivalent, gets labelled a cheeser.

I feel really bad for Nani, with TSL3, Homestory 3 and now this, he just can't seem to catch a break

He's the foreign kong.

yea this format really shows whos the best player in the world.........you have to be able to play insane macro games, defend the crazy cheese builds, adjust to everything in between, and show that you have the stamina to play through a grueling tourny. Leenock actually did it. amazing

People forget that Nani actually won the Code S seed which is available to Koreans as well (DongRaeGu, Huk, Bomber, at a lot of the Koreans playing could have got it). If he won a foreigner seed then yeah, very well, there could be grounds for saying he's already had ample opportunity (and even then he obtained it in a fair manner set out by MLG and GSL's agreement).

But this is the Code S seed, which he thoroughly deserves due to his performance this whole week. Nestea ordeal doesn't delegitimize this.
