seriously. Honestly that is looking like the most reasonable explanation. Nestea just DOES NOT give away mutas like that. And those banelings... wow. Its called cockiness dude. He underestimated Huk bigtime after how Huk was playing in the start of his two games.

Admittedly Huk did his utmost to win that game, and activated tryhardmode after epicly failing his opening, but what was Nestea thinking.......Units lost tab must've been 3 or 4-1 by the end of that game.

That's stupid. ZergBong mainly played (and mainly enjoyed) 2v2 in BW.
Also, isn't "non-nonsensical decision making" a good thing?

I am absolutely positive that Nestea threw that game away because he saw the huge mistake that Huk made in the beginning and didnt want a easy stomp over win. EVERYBODY HERE KNOWS THATS NOT HOW NESTEA PLAYS.

And also hilarious that I decide to unmute Tastosis (don't bother listening to their Nestea games), and they're going on about that being such a terrible game. Haha, so typical. I wish every PvZ was as "terrible" as that game.
It was an abysmal game where one guy (Huk) made a completely stupid mistake that should have killed him and the other player (Nestea) played some of the worst Z v P in GSL history when just about anyone on planet earth could have beaten Huk in that scenario. Yes, including me and most other people posting in this thread. Even ones who don't main Zerg.

both 3rd and 4th will end up being in Ro24 Code A but they are only 1 Bo3 away from staying in the Code S or being dropped to the insanely packed up&down to prove they worth a Code S spot next season interesting format

Well said, Huk played well, but Nestea brought the result.

however, i do not feel huk legitly "beat zerg" in that game
i saw nothing in that game that would make me believe huk will really beat super good zerg play, which nestea didnt offer that game.
i guess leenock is coming up right now. if huk beats leenock right now ill eat my words
3rd place also goes to code A ro24. Only the top 8 in code S don't have to go through code A to remain in code S.

This might sound crazy but I think Nestea gets bored playing against people that don't offer him a challenege.
|
This game was even more fail than the blizzcon final vs mvp, I would have won both games simplisticly by just playing normal and doing normal things and normal decisions. Its just disgusting what nestea is doing and not a champion mentality at all.

even nestea can have a bad day. believe it or not.

I know he's playing sloppy but why arrogant? Other players play crappy after getting a lead but it's not always due to cockiness im quite sure that is cockiness right there. you dont accidentally make 80 banelings. definitely points towards cockiness imo as well Didn't he do the same at Blizzcon? Where people accused him of playing around. Well it wasn't banes, but yah he had a big lead and blew it by making 20+ broods and running them at an army of ghosts with no detection. This was an even less convincing effort The game was already over, you have no way of scouting a viking switch (when the production has been there for hte last 20 minutes), and you kind of have to gamble that he's not going vikings when he has 20 ghosts [i.e. youc an't have 10 less broods and be safe against viking but still win against 0 vikings]. You simply have no idea what you're talking about.
If he had made that many banelings and just attacked at blizzcon he probably would have won but Nestea was more ahead at Blizzcon than he was in this case.
|
That wasn't cockiness, maybe at first it was, but it seemed like he wasn't even trying.
He let all his mutas sit in Huk's base until they were dead, then made almost 100 banelings to roll at psi storm and archons, despite having already seen the high templar.

Nestea threw that game away and it looked like he did it on purpose. I'm in gold league and given the lead Nestea had when his Muta's first popped, I could've beaten Huk at that point. It would've taken the old "put all units in one control group and A move strat" that I've perfected over the recent weeks.
You would actually not be able to win. Trust me.

What' just happened. I don't even.

HuK just knocked NesTea, the guy with the 83.3% winrate vs P, into Code A... What just happened?!

These are the times I wish GSL did loser's interviews. Cause I want to know what the hell Nestea's thoughts are about that game. Part of me feels he just never expected to get his 4th sniped and after fucking around with banelings he basically just checked out after that.
