Dear lord. I have been looking at that, thinking that Hero was kind of, just kind of getting somewhat lucky. Hard Terran in asd, but manageable, you have to be able to beat Terrans at some point. Then he would have Leenock, who is amazing but I whom I did not rate highly in ZvP. So I was pretty sure Hero might be able to clinch Code S next season without going through Up and Downs.
Now. Yeah. Nestea is not going to have two of those days in a single season. That is just not imaginable.
Say what you want, but players can have bad days. And that was clearly one of Nestea's. He has been so flawlessly consistent in Code S for such a long time, I guess it was bound to come. That game v Huk was so poor it is hard to really fathom that he played it, but these things happen from time to time.
Good luck to Huk v Leenock. A chance for redemption. And for round of eight, which is a huge, huge deal.

Eventually, how good a player becomes catches up to him mentally and causes him to get away from the things that made him good in the first place. Cockiness and complacency are the banes of a champion's existence. They're what separate champions from legends.

I'm not accusing of match-fixing. I'm just saying that by witnessing my idol "throw" an important game like that, it really feels more like a stab in the back when compared to Coca/Byun fooling around in some random tournament.
In what world does NesTea gain anything from losing that game on purpose? Get real please. Sometimes pros have bad days.

I'm going to be honest I put the stream in the background when I saw Huk f*** his opening so hard, for the second game in a row, in disgust. I come back 5 minutes ago and see him up 50 supply about to win and i'm just ecstatic. Then I put on my headphones and hear artosis basically want to vomit at the game quality haha. I'm just happy huk won, maybe I'd feel different if I watched the whole game

How can anyone vote yes. That was an abomination. Do you regret watching that game? It deserves to be seen by anyone who is a fan of either player. It's the greatest mindfuck so far in Starcraft.
I regret watching it. I would have prefered to not see it, look at the results and think "oh, huk must have played really well", but right now my head just hurts -_-

huk doesnt have to wear the sc2 headphones?

This is as close as it comes to match-fixing imo. Except maybe BratOK vs Stephano game in some tournament we saw where they BOTH wanted to lose, lol (that was actually in good spirits so no big deal).

I think Artosis is suppressing the memory of that game, his love for Nestea is unscathed.

Honestly, there's no way in hell that was matchfixing simply because it was too obvious. None can possibly lose like that on purpose, it just doesn't happen. I hope.

I'm feeling another brainfart by HuK early on, and Leenock not doing the NesTea.

Cause it's a hollow victory.. :-/ would of been way more happy if Nestea didn't throw the game making only banelings for a while. HuK failed on his FFE, and it uh, evened out. To me, it was a good game, and I was cheering for Nestea the first half. I couldn't after he sat there losing his entire army of mutas though, and I had to admire HuK's ability to play things out in the end game. Dude, trust me, a lot of us here appreciate Huk coming back...but that wasn't a comeback because Huk played brilliantly That was a comeback because Nestea got cocky, into complacent, into terrible I name it a combo of the two. No opening exists if Nestea doesn't fail horribly. But then no opening exists if Huk doesn't take advantage of it
