ForGG and MVP are really the only two with any form left when they switched, I think at the exact moment of switching MVP might have been better but ForGG won an MSL and generally achieved a higher level. How was NaDa like when he switched over? Basically not even playing Broodwar anymore, his final impressive showing was like a year or more before SC2 beta started.

Bomber/MC had nowhere the accomplishments of the others. I'm not to knowledgeable on BW, Bomber, MVP, and MC are the ones best at BW from my limited knowledge to have transitioned. forgg was better than all three of them when they made their switch despite being retired ![]()

He dodged storms and kited zealots really well imo. Still gotta work on that Medivac Micro though. Yeah, his medivacs nearly never stood still to heal, as he has moving them around with his army However, how he handled that 2-front attack was just stellar.. Really cool and collected How do you handle medivacs so you can kite with army and let them heal? I always have them in one group and fail major time. Would appreciate the tips I think its to do with having the medivacs on another hotkey, and not moving them with the army. They'll still follow your bioball when you stim, since they chase your units to heal Just have to remember to look after them when they're idle

I do accept that my judgment could be clouded by my blatant Sage fanboyism though. I'm religiously maintaining my stance that ForGG plays just like 15 other Terrans. Does seem to be a minority viewpoint though apparently. Do you really think that MVP/MKP etc. have displayed that kind of micro? MKPs marine micro vs banelings was one thing, but the way forgg dodged storms and kited was simply unparalleled. The way he overstimmed was cool too =/ But yes, in general his micro was at a high level. And yes, I have seen MKP display just as good micro. And no, I'm not a MKP fan =/

He overextended his early marines and should have lost more if the forcefields were placed better. He won the game only because sage also overextended and just lost to the superior macro

Didn't he qualify for Code A this way? yea im just kidding. He had some really crazy games in the korean weekly though. there was one game where both command centers ended up in the same base and it was 1 hellion 2 scvs vs like 2 marines for forgg to win

ForGG was far more accomplished in BW than the other three. Bomber and MC barely played televised games and MVP didn't have a great record (All: 30-46 (39.47%)) . Forgg, on the other hand, won a starleague final agaiinst Jaedong.

ForGG or MVP ? forgg overall but from what HotBid said it was MVP who was better at the end most likely MVP is much better in 2010. Forgg basically never played pro games in 2010.

That wasn't a mistake. He knew his build would be weak to DTs but he had 3 Orbitals so I think he figured he would have enough scan. Also, he was saving some scan on the 3rd Orbital so he was technically prepared for DTs, as evidenced by him only losing 8 SCVs to 5 DTs. Also had an E-Bay for Turrets just in case. He didn't 100% know DTs were coming, but he was certainly prepared for them to a degree.

To be honest, I saw standard Zealot kiting with stimmed Marauders (does anyone ever fail that at Code A/S?) and units moving back when stormed during favourable engagements. Well done, but how is that "unparalleled"?
