Starcraft2France is pleased to present you the result of long, hard-working months : Across the Galaxy Tournament.
It's an Online, 16-player tournament with a €2050 prize pool. You'll find on the website (in French) all the information and news you need along with the tournament rules (In English) or liquipedia Across the Galaxy
Sum up :
Prize pool : €2050
€200 will be distributed during the qualifying rounds.
Final rounds :
First : €1000
Second : €500
Third : €250
Fourth : €100
This tournament will be played on the European server. The names of our 8 invited players will be disclosed shorty. 8 players will have to go through the qualifying rounds in order to access the final rounds. 4 256-slot qualifying tournaments will be organized
The two remaining players in each tournament will access the final rounds. The winner of each qualifying tournament will earn €50.
During the final rounds, the games will be played on a win-or-out basis and the First round will oppose the 8 invited players to the 8 qualified players.
The broadcasting dates for the qualifying rounds go as follows :
Across the Galaxy First qualifying round : November 10, 2011 20h00 CET
Across the Galaxy second qualifying round : November 14, 2011 20h00 CET
Across the Galaxy third qualifying round : November 17, 2011 20h00 CET
Across the Galaxy fourth qualifying round : November 21, 2011 20h00 CET
You must know that players willing to participate must be at least diamond. Lower players simply won't be accepted in the tournament.
Inscriptions will Start one or two days before the dates/hours written above and the Check in will start one hour before the tournament. We invite you to read the tournament rules for more detailed Instructions.

1/8th final round #part 1 : November 28, 2011 20h00 CET
1/8th final round #part 2 : December 2, 2011 20h00 CET
Quarterfinals : December 6, 2011 20h00 CET
Semifinals : December 9, 2011 20h00 CET
Third and fourth playoff and the final : December 16, 2011 20h00 CET

Pet i think we all heard you casting in english.. or was it romanian? I am sorry, couldn't tell the difference right. I think we can all agree that we need more articulate casters and a feminine touch is a good addition to the variety of casters in Esports today. Thankyou.

I think VampireLady is a good caster!
She can speak english so that everyone can understand what the game is about. Also she is expressing genuine feelings during the game and not being fake while casting

That's exactly the same date and time the finals of the MSI Pro Cup #4 will take place  I know its hard to find a decent time for a tournament nowadays but that seems a little bit unfortunate.
Btw. in case you need another eng./ger. caster for some other dates let me know. Might be able to stream if you are interested (depends a little bit on my schedule here at GOM though).

Saturday/Sunday : We broadcasting for ESL
Friday : It's ok, we broadcasting for "Across the Galaxy"
Wednesday/Thursday : No webTv Staff for the event
Tuesday : Millenium, MSI Cup final phase
Monday : it remains just the Monday
Sorry but we can not do otherwise. That said, it only lasts no more than 2 Monday.

Why Stephano hasnt been invited? He's the best french atm i think, it's quite a strange decision as a lot of people want to see him play.
Beside that, nice event, i'll watch it for sure.

For Stephano, we have invited him of course ! But he has declined the invitation because, some parts of the finals phases will be played when Stephano will be in Korea for prepare and play the "Blizzard Cup" and he wasn't sure to play his matches.
