nestea vs sc rematch!

It looks like there are gonna be a lot of great ZvTs right away. Looking forward to seeing Leenock's vT play against the big kids. DRG's group could put up some amazing matches too.

Don't think Boxer was ever really beaten by a "no-name".

He lost to nuclearfOu, now FXOasd, Leenock, Oz all of which are in code S right now.

Rewatching and just noticed a mistranslation. Nestea didn't say he liked the Swarm Host. He said he thought a Terran unit was OP. He said he might as well switch to Terran because of the Shredder.

That's incorrect. I fixed it. Naniwa and Sase are getting Code A seeds, not up and down seeds. The up and down seeds are presumably going to Idra and DeMuslim, but it's not confirmed yet so they aren't on that page.

Stop with that crap, Koreans are getting more free rides into foreign tournaments than foreigners are getting into the gsl.


I hope they reserve that up&down spots for players who actually win major foreign tourneys, not invite players like demuslim or idra.


idra just won IEM Guangzhou.. the only foreigners who have recently won a major tournament are i idra, stephano and sjow if you consider iesf...

I really have no idea why people are upset MMA picked YuGiOh. As Doa was saying, individual leagues have different priorities for team SlayerS. It's always nice if your teammate advances, but you gotta look after yourself first, especially with the more unforgiving format. Let me know when MMA or anyone else actually does something BM.

Imo, MMA was getting a little too cute in the GSL finals when he went nukes, and it nearly cost him. Yeah, you could argue it bought him time to get his vikings, meh. Neither him nor MC should be doing daring stuff like picking Polt/Mvp if they want to stay in code S. It's not worth it anymore. Look how long and hard the road has been for Boxer, and he's only in code A ro48 with another giant hill to climb. YuGiOh could still surprise anyway. I would never pick MC just for revenge, but only if I thought I could beat him, and MC apparently struggles more against Z than T these days.


Anyways, the new format looks very nice for variety and generally mixing it up.

The best part of the new format is Bo3 everything. Players who are playing terribly will not be able to keep code S through skin of their teeth by cheesing in 1 Bo1.

People are saying that Liquipedia is wrong and that Ro32 is actually Bo1, so I'm really confused as to what the format is as far as BoXs go.

I think they all (always) fall into one of three categories:

1. Player A picks Player B because Player B is thought to be an easy win.
2. Player A picks Player B because Player A has something to prove (match-up beast, revenge, player snipe, etc.).
3. Player A picks Player B because Player A is masochistic.
