IdrA got a Code S seed but turned it down.. does that count? Jinro was in Code A after loosing his Code S spot. All the Liquid buddies got seeded into Code A, HuK had to be seeded twice before he finally pased the Ro16 mark and the Ro8 cut off line for code S. | ||

I think he's referring to the qualifers after the Open Seasons. He's right in saying that no foreigners made it through those preliminaries that eventually became sick hard to reach Code A. HuK was only seeded once. He made it to RO8 Code A on his first try and proceeded to beat the up/downs to get into Code S. | ||

He was asking for someone who actually made it through GSL qualifiers to make it into Code A. In which case, no foreigner has ever done so. (unless you count the first 3 GSLs, in which case, Torch, Idra, Artosis, TLO, Haypro, Ret and Sen all made it through at least once). Ret had to play a wildcard playoff to get his original Code A spot, which he lost the first season in the Ro32. Haypro, Huk, Moonglade and Ret all got foreigner seeds the following season, which allowed Huk to make it through to Code S. (he only did it in one try, contrary to what you said) Every other foreigner who has qualified to Code A since has always only made it through due to invites. Only Sheth, Sjow, Huk and Select have made it past the Ro32. Idra never received a Code S seed. He had always been Code S until he decided to leave Korea. Unless you're talking about the Super Tournament, in which case he and a couple of foreigners (Ret and Sen) declined their seeds. | ||

John said there were only going to be 6 qualifiers today though (although we expected 11) not sure. I'm fairly certain we'll be seeing Boxer, Jinro, TheStC, Puma and probably some of the foreigners. I think Fenix and Major are not in Korea at the moment though. *shrug*. | ||

I don't see notable players like Trickster, BboongBboong, anypro, ToD, Tails, YoDa, Ace, San or Horror in any of the brackets also. Unless they got eliminated really early. | ||
