Watch how you approach the topic of match fixing. You can speculate, saying "I'm not so sure about the finals, something doesn't sit right with me," but if you are going to outright accuse players of match fixing you need something more than your word.

TL takes match fixing/abuse seriously and as such there is a burden a proof when you are accusing players.

I wish blizzcon had the extended series rule
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I agree, for once I would've loved to have that rule ;s, so sad for le naniwa
It appears I have been chosen.

So since Nestea has won Blizzcon and MVP didn't win GSL Oct., can you call them being evenly good again?

nestea won blizzcon? you from the future, sir?
Obviously Sen/Naniwa have 0% chance of beating Nestea in a series.

Naniwa and BratOK both took a game off him in group stage.
Anyone can take a game but when it comes to a BO5/7 it's 0% chance for them.

if anyone can take a game, then anyone can take 3 games, or 4 games

yea but as the quantity of game played increases, the probability of winning a BoX goes down
Remember, no matter where you go, there you are.

Big win for Sen, taking out Naniwa who's been training in Korea for so long. Sad for Naniwa though, was hoping he'd do better, though he already did well

Wow, I gotta give to to Naniwa. He has shown that he is totally back in form as a top foreigner, while Sen continues being one of the absolute best. Just wish they had brought in Stephano/Thorzain/Huk to round out the group

Nani beat Sen 2:0 in the winners bracket

sen is gonna win against MVP then twice against Nestea and then everyone is going to freak out and say blizzcon was awesome
I asked my friend how the ratio at a party was, he replied. "Let's just say for every guy there was two dudes."

Eh.. he's at the very bottom of grandmaster.

So? he is probably better than 95% of TL whiners.

He's top 200 NA.

He's better than 99% of TL

Actually I wonder about this..looks like there are 13.7k "active users," but a lot of famous pros have accounts here, and I'm sure there are quite a few good high masters here who are gm level. Maybe 2%?

there are loads of lurkers who never make accounts or if they do aren't active, that doesn't make them not part of TL.

Nani . Here is the problem with sc2, there are so many player that I want to see succeed... Naniwa is one of them, along Sase, Jinro, Ret, Sheth ,Sen etc. But they can't all win .
Good luck next time.

Nestea used Nerchio style in game 2. Same build order and everything.

Yea, I used Nerchio style to I guess cause I roach all in after 16 drones.... which is a standard all in. So I guess all the Zergs in the world all have Nerchio style to use when they wanna all in.

Guys (for everyone responding like you) learn to spot sarcasm...

Just the same as Ling/Infestor not being the "Stephano" build. He may play that style but it doesn't mean he owns it, which is why its annoying to hear commentators like Day9 throwing it out there.

I agree, ling/infestor was invented by Destiny actually.

actually it was used in the beta before muta/bling came into popularity.

He did not invent it. He was not the first pro player that used it. Players in the beta used similar strategies
But that's not really the point.
The point is that Stephano was the one that showed that this strategy was still viable against top players at this point of the game.
This do not imply that Nestea surely copied him, but it is possible that Nestea reconsidered this strategy after ipl3...

And also this is not bw. The gap (popularity wise) between Korea and the rest of the world is not that big. There is actually more prize money outside of korea that in korea, so it wouldn't be mind blowing that a top korean player could pay attention to some big foreign tourney.

Can someone from BLIZZARD please tell me WHY they show the 2 Quarters between Naniwa/Dimaga and Sen/Select. ................

AND NOT only ONE game of Quarters and then the MATCH SEN vs NANIWA????? WTF is this...
There is just no reason to NOT show Nani vs Sen..... its a big Blizzard tournament Schedule Fault... after all the great tournaments like MLG/IPL3 this one is the worst in terms of Matches showns.

FaZi

Because they only have 1 stage. They can only show one game and follow the schedule. Sorry this is not SC2con,there is so much they can reasonably show.

Exactly, they need to show the trivia questions for a full hour so there's really no time to squeeze a game in.

The people attending Blizzcon are probably there for the other events aswell, making the games not go by schedule would make a lot of people miss games...

thank you for being reasonable.... i swear TL and especially reddit, is being pretty crazy about blizzcon whining

So the two biggest Starcraft2 communities are "whining" because they feel the tournament is being run poorly? We did plenty of "whining" about MLG too and look what happened since... they put on probably the two best events of the year. Sometimes people need to know when they fuck up.

There is a difference between:

"OMFG THIS UCKING SUCKS BLIZZARD ARE ALL FUCKERSS FOR NOT CATERING ONLY FOR ME"
and
"Blizzard, please show more SC2 games from that tournament, that would really help promote your game and esports because X and Y. "

Most of the whining is the former .part of good feedback is to understand the position of the organizer, MLG didn't show all the games in the brackets on main stage because there is so much they can show there, Blizzard isn't showing all games because they only have one stage, they want peopel to walk around, look at the other games, have fun with the event etc..

Sen has no chance vs Mvp
Naniwa on the other hand looked very strong this tournament. Sen winning vs Naniwa killed eSports.
