It's been an anticlimatic Grand Finals in every MLG thus far.
Sure there were some exciting games, but the shortness of the series makes the whole thing feel like MLG is just trying to hurry the players along so they can pack up and go home.

One lil disappointment I have is watching the vod's, it seems like the only microphone they had for the audience was the casters'. Because when the crowd is only noticeably audible on the vod, (such as when MKP or Boxer lifted their cc's), in the venue it was DEAFENING. Pretty much every match involving any combo of MKP, Huk, Idra, Bomber, and Boxer had the audience going wild the entire time.

Fun fact: the winner of the upper bracket has always won the MLG without exception. That's why I went to bed after Huk-TheSTC.

But this MLG was just the biggest tourney win so far outside korea. I mean sure you lacked some big names both koreans and foreigners but the people present and the koreans present was just insane. and Huk winning his group is just amazing. Look at Idra who had the easiest group possible and still did not finish on top. Huk is just a monster! Well deserved and congrats Huk!

I must admit I was betting on TheSTC to take it home I just cant understand why Thestc is stuck in code B. No idea what people see in TheStC. I think he's benefiting from the Tester effect. Both of them were beasts in the Beta but then didn't get to play for awhile (StC because of military, Tester because of getting cheesed out in the GSL preliminaries). Everyone just assumed they were still gosu beasts but when they finally got back the overall skill level had increased to the point where they weren't anything special anymore.

Also see my comments about our Hero in spoilers + Show Spoiler + http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwhL9vaA2Nw&feature=player_embedded Isn't it amazing the shout-outs Huk gave to Hero and MC? Truly he is the deserving champion for both his skill and his kindness. Imagine if you were Hero, a fellow protoss, and a team liquid member, and you had lost the tournment but got this shout out from the champion and none other than Huk himself? And imagine how happy MC must have been, to be called the Protoss President by his friend and the person who just proved he is basically the best Protoss in the world? Truly, we have the qualities of a Hero in Huk. I hope others follow his lead in kindness and skill and dedication -Joytoyou

Well TheSTC resembles MVP in that he does many varied amount of builds(many cheesy ones). You never honestly can guess his playstyle because he tailors it to his opponent.

He has great control, a wide variety of builds, has posted back to back top 4s in major tournaments, and has only recently returned to full time play as he was in the military.
