You guys need to realize that huk had to play a very low amount of games compared to other players, and the only good players he had to play were MKP and MC, who were exhausted .
He has been knocked out first round of every tournament he played the past months and it probably won't change.
(huk is still 0-6 vs stephano)

Clearly this guy is a dumb troll, you have summed it up pretty much, yes he played less games, but vs very good players

This feels like Luke Skywalker beating Obi-Wan Kinobi. It's awesome that Huk won but I'm really sad for MC at the same time.

HuK knew when and where to win, unlike MC lost 2 matches in his pools so he deserved to played more than HuK.

Be happy Jang, Min-Chul made it into Code S again dude. Hopefully he won't fall out next season right away though...

What is up with all the downtime in the rebroadcast? Shouldn't they cut all of it out?

i swear whenever I tune in to the rebroadcasts it is 90% of the time overly loud guitar music playing and a camera of the crowd...

The thing that really annoys me is that MLG''s tournament system is horrible, and they aren't willing to change anything until next year.

Some of the biggest problems are

-Players like Incontrol constantly being seeded into the pools despite loosing all the time (no disrespect to InControl, i know hes a great guy). Basically if you place well in one of the first two MLG's, you can ride that seeding through until the end of the year.
-Extended series ruining exitement
-Still only bo3 in the semi finals? Are you kidding me!?!?!? The semi's should be bo5 and no extended series
-A system where the grand final can be over in 2 games. What a joke...
-Grand final should be bo7 no extended series.
-Pathetic prize money

The grand final consisted of 2 games. Both games were decided within the first 5 minutes (4 gate micro win and a failed cannon rush). This is a combination of bad maps, bad balance by blizzard and a bad tournament system by MLG.

I can't stress enough how disappointing the final was for this tournament. Idra vs Bomber was true grand final in my eyes...

So they should change their entire system mid season to cheat the players who earned their points in the old system? Okay.

Incontrol being seeded is not the systems fault. It's the Korean Invites. They come for one event, and leave. That messes with the system. MLG is built around people coming to every event. The system is fine until Koreans mess it up. It is a fine system when people attend. So either have the Koreans never come, or deal with one player going 0-5 in pool play.

Extended series was just something they've had forever on all games and it's only really become a big problem this year from what I remember and they can't change rules midseason as again it's unfair to the players.

Again, cannot change the system.

Prize money? This is a regular season event. You don't seem to understand that the first 5 events of the season are to get you seeded into the National Championship. What are they going to put up $50k every event? No that wouldn't work, they'd have to increase the prize pools of Halo and CoD. They cannot afford that. The prizes are GSL spots and money to go along with it. It's a great prize.

Idra finished 4th, MC made it to the finals again, Huk won the thing. Not bad MLG results imo

maybe thats because its a vod which starts with a shot of the crowd everytime you load it however you can just skip that and search for the match you would like to watch

What an amazing tournament. I only wish Idra had taken down MC to battle TheSTC for the code s spot and then go on to fight HuK for 1st (or TheSTC to go extended series vs HuK which would also have been 1000 times more interesting than PvP).

Anyway: GG's HuK!
