I don't know if he gets both advantages or just one. MC definitely had to win 3 games to win the Bo7 but there might've been a bo3 after that, not sure.

And since its artosis, it actually is a SINGLE pylon powering the 9 mortal men, 7 dwarf lords, and 3 elven kings

No point to this other than to discuss on how it seems only our top foreigners can place high against koreans. Pretty much, but you have to realize that they're placing high against the very best Koreans, like Bomber, MKP, and MC. Though you're right to point out that the gap between the best foreigners and the second best foreigners seems a lot larger than the gap between the best Koreans and the second best Koreans, leading to there being less foreigners overall who can compete at the highest level.

But the format shown in liquipedia page doesn't account for any Gom invites, so I thought only GSL players seeded in the top 16 already would be flown in by gom? And even if Mvp got flown in he'd have to play in the open bracket? Because there's nothing in the format that would allow him to get seeded in http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2011_MLG_Pro_Circuit/Providence

Idra played Boxer and it was best of 7, Idra beat bomber and a Protoss whose name I forget, and then lost 2-1 to a Protoss. Why was that match only best of 3? He beat Hongun first of all. It was a bo.7 because he had played Boxer earlier in the tournmament and so it went into an extended series in which the scores of the previous engagment are assumed and play continues to a bo.7
