Right now, top 7 are HuK TheSTC, Bomber, MKP, MC, Idra/Hongun
Bomber, HuK, MKP are Code S already... Hongun is in up&downs.
With TheSTC being in the upper bracket, he can rely on Bomber and/or MarineKing stomping their opponents to get his Code S spot. Whereas someone like MC would have to go through MKP, then Bomber, then TheSTC finally.

I'm going to laugh so hard if Puma throwing the game away gives Incontrol the last seed at Providence.
is that real?!
GO INCONTROL Puma show some love haha
Hello to the only person in the world cheering for Incontrol's play, lol.
There's people out there who hate Puma but hate Incontrol clogging up MLG's top 16 even more.
Why does everyone "hate" Incontrol, for being 1-10, but I haven't seen one negative thing towards Nony, who is.....oh wait 1-10 as well.... weird.
What site are you on? That's right.
Nony didnt go 0-10 two MLG's in a row before going 1-10 perhaps, and fought hard through the open bracket each time

-MC holding his ramp with FFs while reinforcing his army and letting upgrades finish (unit upgrades, not attack/armor, obviously) -ghosts getting picked off after casting only one EMP -FFs trapping bio right as colossi come out -blink stalkers chasing down retreating army
MC played that one so well, I just don't know what else to say.
Colossi not just came out, MC hide it very well on the back of his base, only show ground army, Puma obviously didn't expect that.
Incontrol deserves one more chance at a MLG. He could easily become a viable contender for the Code S spot next tournament. Send him to providence in pool play, Puma be righteous and throw the game!

1. TheSTC loses to Huk in Winners' Finals 2. MC beats MarineKing 3. MC beats winner of Bomber and Hongun/Idra. 4. MC beats TheSTC.
It actually seems pretty likely that TheSTC will finally make it out of Code B!

incontrols play is horrible but he's such a nice guy... i'd only want him out if he doesn't like getting beat to a pulp all the time (understandable)
he will bounce back epically, legend of the fall!
I said I hate Puma for abusing 1-1-1 much, but I would rather seeing him in top 16 than InControl, I mean that group B looks like group of Death, but incontrol totally ruin it, that why everyone call group D group of death... and for a tournament of high prestigate like Providence, I would not want to see Tyler + machine + incontrol + haypro + TLO + Drewbie in pool play anymore. a lot of other Foreigners deserve that spot.

just because incontrol went 0-5 his last 4 mlg´s does not mean he is not deserving it. Mlg rules rule over who is deserving and who is not.
somehow MLG is turning into SC2's Kespa 'round these parts
and i don't like it. show some respect and thankfulness for bringing you some of the best players facing off?!

The reason is......people are stupid. The past 80 pages are all snide personal attacks at Boxer/Idra/Puma/etc. Same goes for Incontrol.

I like both of them IMO as players and as personalities. Two of my favorite NA Protoss players.

So anyone in gold league can hold off that build, but Slayers Boxer cannot? You're obviously a highly intelligent individual aren't you.
idra didnt hold the attack off, boxer failed the attack. if you were watching the same game as me, it's simple to see.
How? Idra played as best as you can there. What boxer could have done there? Idra had banelings, lings, lots of spine crawlers and EXTRA queens to block/harass those hellions.
When he got into the main with the hellions, Idra blocked Boxer's way with the hellions brilliantly, placing his queens right, and keeping his zerglings ready.
Either i'm fucking blind, but really, Boxer didn't exactly fail that attack. Idra just defended it as best as you could have.
I think people are comparing that to when MKP did it. But Haypro had like 2 spines up instead of 5 so the comparison is really silly.
The key to beating that strategy is to have enough spines, or roaches, to survive until mutas.
Haypro under-made spines and MKP just rolled him with pure hellions.
Fast mutas are important to beating back the pressure and regaining map control but if you don't manage to survive until mutas they're useless.
Tal'Darim Altar is the map where I felt IdrA was actually flat-out helpless. Even three spines in position wouldn't have been able to take down that bunker with enough SCVs repairing before it killed the hatch.
Unless you open one-base on that map, it seems marine+scv all-in is just way too strong.
