If anything, Boxer was helped by the fact that it was double elimination and that he didn't auto-lose from getting 2-0ed by IdrA lol Why do people QQ about this format every tournament -.-' Get over it, people. Final score between IdrA and Boxer is 4-3 Idra. That means Boxer loses. Because Idra is already rewarded with higher seeding, is automatically moved further into the tourney, gets an unfair 2-0 advantage in a second series that should be considered completely separate because it's championship losers bracket not the seeding pool. How hard is that to understand? there is extended series rule so ppl wouldnt loose on purpose on group play to help their team mates or firends to get into better placing at championship bracket.

The first real good player he faced was Puma and he lost to him.

playing who for consolation? Loser of HongUn/Idra When IdrA loses he will 100% give PuMa the win, most of the time nobody shows up to the consolation matches anyway
incontrol will force idra to play as they are in the same team.

This. Raleigh lacked passion and any good story lines really. Columbus had the best invites, Anaheim had MVP finally begin to beast it up again and also had kickass invites. This one looked like the worst on paper and now has turned into something awesome.

Oh, good call. I forgot that Idra was going back to Korea.

I'm going to laugh so hard if Puma throwing the game away gives Incontrol the last seed at Providence. is that real?! GO INCONTROL Puma show some love haha Hello to the only person in the world cheering for Incontrol's play, lol. There's people out there who hate Puma but hate Incontrol clogging up MLG's top 16 even more. Why does everyone "hate" Incontrol, for being 1-10, but I haven't seen one negative thing towards Nony, who is.....oh wait 1-10 as well.... weird. What site are you on? That's right. Nony didnt go 0-10 two MLG's in a row before going 1-10 perhaps, and fought hard through the open bracket each time Agreed. It isn't that Tyler is on Liquid it's that he hasn't had an easy ride through MLG because of one 4th place finish (like inc). He's actually fought through the open bracket back into the champ bracket.

I hope PuMa wins :S Incontrol is a fan favorite but I don't think he is good enough to be in the groups of the national championship. I REALLY don't think Incontrol is a fan favorite in anyway. I mean, he seems like a cool guy and all, but I don't think anyone expect him to win, well, anything.
Fan favorite just means fans like him. Different from a tournament favorite or a tournament contender, or even a hopeful I just want to see the best 16 players possible in the top 16. There are a lot of players more deserving

Ya, the slumping MC would have tried to brute force his way up that ramp and would have lost because of that, the good MC did his damage and pulled back without losing his sentry's and the bulk of his stalkers, then the collosus hide was sick, MC was like "I'll let him up my ramp force field and spring my trap (insert evil laugh)"

That's what requires skill and not 2 rax nonsense where everyone in gold league can pull of. So anyone in gold league can hold off that build, but Slayers Boxer cannot? You're obviously a highly intelligent individual aren't you. idra didnt hold the attack off, boxer failed the attack. if you were watching the same game as me, it's simple to see. How? Idra played as best as you can there. What boxer could have done there? Idra had banelings, lings, lots of spine crawlers and EXTRA queens to block/harass those hellions. When he got into the main with the hellions, Idra blocked Boxer's way with the hellions brilliantly, placing his queens right, and keeping his zerglings ready. Either i'm fucking blind, but really, Boxer didn't exactly fail that attack. Idra just defended it as best as you could have. IdrA defended it very very well but Boxer did miss some opportunities to kill drones. And that may be the scariest part... Had Boxer's macro not slipped, had he researched blueflammes, that game might have looked a lot different.... I'll have to watch the replay, but I'm 90% sure his macro didn't slip rather his reactors were still building hence couldn't make units.
Also with 16+ hellions, blueflame does nothing but overkill.

Uh Code S goes to the top player in the top 3 who isn't already there. Why do you think DRG and MMA got code S spots despite not winning the MLG preceding it?

hmmm, what will happen if it is puma vs idra...? XD
They don't have to play. Idra would more than likely just forfeit the game and give Puma the win. Most players don't care enough to play consolation matches.
