Unless Puma is living permantently in US where going to the code A qualifyiers is unreasonable, then GSL doesn't accept their performance here as an indication for anything. I think IdrA would accept because this fits his schedule to go back to Korea. I would love it if Ret accepted, but he has gotten a Code A spot every MLG and has yet to accept. Sase will. HAYPRO. Ah, I love that he is this far up the list but I don't see him accepting for the same reasons as Ret. Sheth will not. But like Ret and Haypro there is a small chance that he will. The OGS-TL deal makes it a little easier but I don't see it happening. It should be worth noting that all three Liquid member in question lived in Korea at one point, so the allure isn't as strong. Stephano is going to Korea, so yes. Machine would say yes, likely just to have the chance to go to Korea.
Are you sure SaSe will say yes? I think he said he wants to go back to Sweden in november, for DH Winter and so on

And once again, Puma can't get Code A.

Also, I'm like this guys biggest fan. I knew him before he was mainstream therefore I"m cool!

I don't if there are VODs for the MC/Puma series but I highly recommend those games. MC played really well and I think he fended off a 1/1/1 in game 1. I loved MC's reaction after he won too. You could tell he really wanted to beat Puma.

This might not be the thread to ask it, but I'm going to anyway.
When people win Code S or Code A spots, are they essentially taking away a spot that someone in Korea would/could have had? If not, how is their tournament formatted to allow for the additional players?
|
I feel kinda bad for IEM. Their viewership numbers must have been hit hard with MLG going on at the same time and having such epic matchups. It'd be interesting to compare the numbers between the two, but MLG never seems to release actual unique concurrent viewer numbers. I'd also be interested in the comparison between SC2, Halo, and CoD, but again, I don't think they release these numbers.
For anyone that was at this MLG, how many people were in the crowd for CoD?
|
So great to read through the pages of IdrA vs Bomber and reliving those games ^________^

please not haypro or machine

Does anyone know what the viewership numbers were like for MLG?
I have to imagine it would be an alltime high (Or should have been).
