well in fairness Ret and Haypro havent been there for what ? 10 months now thats like more than half the time SC2's officially been out. I feel like the korean bit doesnt influence how they play at the moment to much (ofcourse it helps but its impact isnt the same, I mean Jinros doing poorly and hes still there).

Jinro beat everyone in his path except Sase and Polt, i think thats pretty impressive.

Here is the recap: Of the 4 pools: 3 had a Korean at the Top 2 had a foreigner in 2nd place 0 had Koreans at the bottom And top 8: 5 Koreans 3 Foreigners Top 16 10 Koreans 6 Foreigners So... those posts about Korean domination being over seem kinda silly in hindsight.

Foreigners have been doing progressively better every MLG. Look how many took series/games off Koreans compared to the past. I don't think anyone said the Korean domination is over, but it's clearly getting better.

Thank you sir, of course i should have checked the liquipedia first. Stupid me. HuK seems to be doing very well, even though he has a tough opponent. Thanks again for the liquipedia link. Interesting matches today! (the good thing about all of this is, is that i'm not missing Nada playing in WCG) ^_^

Still(I don't really care much as long as I get to see good matches) some people were acting yesterday as if Foreigners were dominating Koreans, and then BAM Open bracket players go an take 1st place in their group XD

Unless they are crazy talented like Ret and Stephano, they need to train in Korea to hone their skills for quite awhile before returning. Which they are, which is good.

So if there were 50% of Koreans and 50% of foreigners participating MLG from the very beginning, the result would be even more one-sided for Koreans On October 16 2011 12:24 hitpoint wrote: Foreigners have been doing progressively better every MLG.
