White-ra would do a better job for sure against Slush.
And is there a worse map than dual sight for PvT/Z??? Agree, he take out Huk and MC in a PvP in IPL and fucked up after on. PvP man...... Yeah, I expect him to take off his mask at the end of the tourney and reveal himself to be inca. HEY HEY HEY Inca is decent in PvT and PvZ now. how do you know this? does he even play anymore?
He won one ESV korean weekly, even beating gumiho 4-1 in the finals so i suppose he has really increased his skill in his other matchups.

Stephano and Polt are winning so many in a row. Polt should not lose until Puma and then I'd say he's even favored.

Damn why did Inori have to knock out White-Ra onlt to lose in the next round : / Been a pretty awesome day of starcraft overall though

so by that logic rain is now a foreigner? Since he now lives and trains in the US? Do dirk nowitski, tony parker, pau gasol, etc. become american when they go to the NBA?
If he stays in the US for long enough, yes. I'm not familiar with basketball, sorry. In football there is a clear distinction made between, for example, South American players who stay in the local leagues vs those who go to Europe. There's no similar terminology though. ???... South American soccer players will always be South American no matter how long they stay in Europe. It's just the consensus that a player's true explosion is found in the best level, in soccer's case, that's european leagues. But in soccer a player never "becomes european", unless he actually changes nationalities. Or maybe I just misread you. BTW, I think this is one of the silliest discussions in all of TL. Why would a player change nationalities LOL. He's getting the best training, but he's still representing his home country. It seems like the inverse situation is consensus in SC, but it seems silly to me. that's not true even though most likely they will retain the style of where they learned football so people keep referring to that. actually football pros get second and third citicenships all the time for playing in countries long enough! (and/or special ones to be able to play for national teams). it's just semantics again at this point as in that context it never refers to actual nationality youÄ're of course right there. but even for players like messi he's a 'spanish' player now because he played at barca for the most significant time so yeah Messi could've played for spain, but he choose argentina. Because he feels like he belongs in argentina. The country sees him as an argentine. So he is argentine, despite what people say. countryman sure but the flavo(u)r of his play, i'd say he's more considered european of course us europeans would agree. i guess at that point like with huk everybody just finds some kind of 'loophole' to integrate a great player into his sphere No countryman, PLAYER. He considers himself a argentine football player, that's why he plays for argentina national squad. is that the catch 22 thing? are we at the point where it started with HuK? i'd think so nobody's denying that it's a question of flavor/system but it's down to semantics again On October 16 2011 11:50 yawnoC wrote: Stop arguing semantics and just watch the games already -.-;
Tyler and Slush GOGO! i'm a linguist how dare you tell me to not argue semantics ;P I got a pretty good guess why he can dare :p, something to do with the little text in white up top. i'm still intrigued by that, i don't have anything. is my browser preventing me to be yelled at by mods? ^_^ GOD the stream just fucked up my speakers, anyone else?!
There's a white text? I don't see anything.

Slush, I don't know how to assess him at all...
The statistics says he's kinda average, but these games looked really nice. I'd like to see more of him in general.

Husky and Day 9 are such a great casting duo.

European Player of The Year = Best Player of the Year (Worldwide)
David Beckham plays for the LA Galaxy. Thereby USA player of the year is the best player of the year worldwide. This is because professional soccer in the USA is the biggest in the world.

To be fair, he got unlucky the first game. The 2nd game was dual sight, just ridiculous to deal with as protoss against zerg.

Slush plays his own style, which means that he can own players that he "shouldn't" own because his style counters theirs, and then lose to players he "shouldn't" lose to because their style counters his.

Bleh. Gotta stay up a few hours for NaDa playing in WCG on OGN, was hoping there'd be something to fill the time with. No SotG.</3

hes shown an ability to beat good players in clutch situations. Hes really the only one of the lot that people often claim shudnt be seeded into pool play who actually doesnt deserve the crap they get. Just needs to get a bit consistent or solid whatever you want to call it.

Beware community! Slush is about to bloom...

Yea it's weird, nobody talks about him but then he places well in every MLG and takes games off Koreans. Most underrated player in all of SC2 imo - people literally never talk about him as a factor.
