High finishing koreans soak up all the ranking points, then when they don't return, players like Incontrol slip back into pools.

Any reasoning behind that? Do all tournies allow Morrow to switch races? Kinda stupid he's allowed to do that.

Yeah the end battles were good and flashy but the turtle fest was just derp. Gotta understand TvT turtle-fest to enjoy it. Love watching how players strengthen their lead by making sure they have covered every part of the map with turtles/tanks/vikings/thors/sensor towers and then them using every single unit in the Terran arsenal to slowly widdle down their opponent's resources, army and positioning. Then again, this only happens in the higher-class TvTs (Supernova vs Top, Top vs MVP etc.) while the players play pretty sloppily in other games which can ruin it.

He lost to bomber. BOMBER. I dont expect many people to beat bomber and when you look at who is in his pool I wouldn't be ashamed if i were him to not win too many games in the pool. As long as he puts up good games and close ones then I think he's doing ok.

Perfect transitions, not much sloppy play and with an epic strategy by MVP. that was on terminus though you can't really do really aggressive drop play with doom drops + nukes on most maps, terminus just has a shit ton of dead space and huge main bases and an extremely large map that supports that type of play shakuras and shattered is more about controlling the middle with the watchtower(s), which is more mech favoured

Fairly certain he's never been in danger of falling out of groups. He's riding that 4th place finish from earlier this year, plus the fact that just being in pool play means you can't finish worse than like 22nd or something. He also usually wins a match or two in the championship bracket. Yes, MLG's system is shit, as has been discussed ad nauseum, but he completely deserves his spot based on that system.
