I understand what you're trying to say but what you're saying doesn't deny that talent exists - depending on what your definition of talent is. I think we should just ignore that topic, enjoy the games and accept that Top won because he just killed Mana, be it skill, decision making, luck or terran op'ness ![]()

Then you say elfi lost to Edge, and then go on to crucify him.. wtf? why are you so quick to judge before even watching the games? I'm following a SC2 scene pretty much from beginning. I won't say that Sjow is a bad player, but I won't say he is very good either. Sure, he won tournaments in the past, but lately he is not doing so well. I would argue about him "being a proven Code A player". As I said, if you watched his games in Code A he was really unimpressing (In Ro32 he won only because Maka started to goof around and made like 5 ccs unnecesary while he was already up 1:0 and really ahead in a game) - that is why I say he lucked out + he was invited. Again, I wanna emphasize - I think Sjow is certainly not bad by any means, but he never impressed me in a game of SC2. I won't judge that elfi is bad either (I've said medicore), but honestly, he didn't win anything big.

I clearly said HARD WORK AND DEDICATION is important. but talent is very real. you mix in hard work and talent and you have a recipe for success.

He apparently doens't practice much but watching him play and his decision making/understanding of the game (which at the core is strategy) you can clearly see he's very talented. When you watch savior play back in bw days, you can clearly see he had talent as well. I can't believe people here are really trying to say and believe talent is not real. Unbelievable
