you're wrong in so many ways. you are denying talent exists?
Yes, I deny exactly that. Everything can be trained and learned if your neurons connect the right way. Dont want to go too deep into that as I cant write that down in english
What a crock.
You can train all you want, you will never be as good as top pros in any sport. It's not just hard work, it's talent.
You can play chess all you want, you won't be better than Bobby fisher.
If you say otherwise, you are delusional.

Dont have time to watch todays games but just checking results real quick, why is there lots of games noted as not played? Are we talking not played as of yet or some kind of trouble with the tournament? Any good games so far?
Cheers.

The gap between EU and NA seems to close :D You should take into consideration that most of the players in that tournament is medicore at best. The best players are at MLG. Strelok, Sjow, Mana and Elfi is not a bad line-up for europe. It's not like the best NA-players are here I would say that for the players you listed only Mana is good. Strelok is kinda meh lately. Sjow is unfortunately too slow for this game, and elfi had like one good run in tournaments. Nah they all are top players.. Sjow is a proven Code A-level player. Strelok is hitting a rough patch but he can come back at any time and Elfi, though new, he's shown he can win tournaments... Mana, well he's the best protoss in Europe.. so.. How is Sjow proven Code - A level player? He got invited to Code A, and he got stomped in his match in Ro16. He won vs MakaPrime in Ro32, but if you watched those game you'll notice that he lucked out hard. I've said Mana is good, not denying that. Elfi lost to Edge (who the hell is that), I think it says a lot.
In hindsight you can argue anything no matter how shitty it sounds a priory.. the truth is, Sjow won his Ro32 match and as per rules he's a proven Code A player, the rest is just your own bias showing. Then you say elfi lost to Edge, and then go on to crucify him.. wtf? why are you so quick to judge before even watching the games?

I understand what you're trying to say but what you're saying doesn't deny that talent exists - depending on what your definition of talent is.
Some people are naturally better at certain things that others. We know that you can train and learn to be as good as the "talented" individual - in theory - everyone can be as good as everybody else. Still, a certain person was better (i.e. more "talented") than someone else in the first place.

Everything can be learned.. true enough, but you only have 24 hours in a day and approx 20000 days before you die.. that's where talent kicks in.

LMAO it really seems MLG took a lot of audience from SC2.
Well and LOL is super popular. I dunno why stream views are so low for SC2(not compared to LoL, compared to other top tourneys) its not like MLG is airing right now

Hey guys - why don't you tone down your cheers a bit more -_-

Also, you can't teach real strategy up to a point.
You can show people what tactics have proven to work etc, but there will always be situations that arise in which said commander much react properly, with on the spot decision making.
That can not be teached. Some people are just smarter and are able to make the right decision in all situations.
Generals in the past like Genghis khan and his dogs of war and hannibal for example were very successful due to their strategical acumen.
Alexander the great was another.. These are not random joe schmoes. They had talent. To say you can teach strategy with repetition is stupid.

Talent has little to do with Axslav's losses. You can tell that he simply doesn't have that much experience against those types of strategies. He looked lost against a one-base Zerg.
