This round will be run as follows:
Top 3 players of upper bracket go through to the knockout stage automatically.
Rank 4 in the upper bracket will go through to seeding playoffs
Rank 1 in the lower bracket will go through to seeding playoffs.
Rank 2 players in lower bracket will play for seeding playoffs.
Loser of above match is out.
Rank 3 and 4 in lower bracket are out.
Seeding playoffs:
If an upper bracket player wins both matches, he is rank 1, if a lower bracket player wins a match against him, they are rank 1, if the upper bracket player loses both matches, he is rank 3. In this case, lower bracket players will assume their previous bracket positions in this one.

Northern Ireland Global Starcraft are running an online tournament with signups open until Sunday 16th of October. There are no prizes, other than a seed in the QCon Open Tournament in Queen's University Belfast in June 2012, and the tournament will be open to players of any league. The tournament will take an NASL type format, with players playing 1 or 2 matches a week, and then a final knockout tournament!
RULES:
All matches will be played on the EU server.
1st map will be picked at random.
Subsequent maps are loser picks
Each player gets one map veto (this counts for both 1st map and subsequent map)

We're trying to get as many games as we can get done without having to do forfeits, but we'll probably have to resort to just giving you a forfeit win, I mean if you make a reasonable effort and the guy doesn't show
