Still. I hope Stephano as the last foreign hope reminds himself that he is playing a korean now. And they are notorious for executing simple and powerful builds/strats..
Protoss is actually the most simplistic race to play macro-wise.Is your statement based on anything other than your own protoss perception?

how come the crowd is so small. Just a couple hundred of people are on site for the event. Weird.

Stephano didn't lose because he took a 3rd. He lost because he took a third with such a long travel distance to his natural. He could never attack with all his forces at once.

Inori went down to Artist so I feel like even if he wins here, I don't think he'll take down theSTC. MMA should be able to take out Lucky too, I'm guessing we'll see theSTC and MMA in the finals.

Haha silly foreigner fans placing all your hope in Zerg players. Zerg doesn't win games!

Just tuned in. What happened to IDra?

Dimaga is a god, Nestea is ZergBong. :d I'm pretty sure that even in zvz it's the better player who wins.

Its not the STCs fault idra didn't stop the rushes It's because they are the same people back in bw, who basically wanted 15 minute no rush bgh. Its because not every1 plays terran (like you), and has an option to scout, or put up free defenses.... I am seriously gonna stop watching this...getting pissed when i see who is winning and who is losing in this game... Ah well, Go stephano! nice try I'm a masters zerg. idra got outplayed. not stc's fault idra plays almost the same way every game and he exploited that. Hey masters zerg, how do you beat this hellion/marauder composition in a reasonable way that is not 1base infestor or something like that? If you can make such huge statements, I'm sure you know a lot better than pretty much all of us. If not, keep the bashing down. It's as bad as being a fanboy, if not even worse. mass roach completely crushes this push, or even pure lings can crush this push. best combo is ling/roach, it's actually not that strong of a push, it's easy to scout and you dont even have that many units, the unit mix might be hard to handle for some zerg but if you hold it off and get mutas its literally game over since the terran has nothing to defend against mutas. Idra almost held it off and he was caught by surprise, even though this push is so easy to scout it's actually beyond me how anyone can NOT scout it. terran has no anti air at all you could chill with overlords over his base all game and there is literally nothing that could kill them. the push in my opinion is really bad, idra almost held it without scouting it and being super greedy, if the zerg scouts it (which is super easy to scout) you just auto-lose and it doesn't even matter what he build. seriously you imba whiners dont understand this game at all and annoy the fuck out of me and pretty much everyone else in this thread, mods need to start doing their work for once.
Yes. Spit some knowledge. Idra lost because he went to lair really early without scouting. As long as you stay on hatch a bit longer, marauder hellion isn't too scary. His biggest mistake imo was never getting a good look at how many hellions STC was producing at any time before he got to the watchtower.

If you completely sacrifice your economy to hit a 2-base timing, you MUST win with the timing or else you have no hope of winning in a macro game. not every 2 base timing sacrifices economy. A lot is just 2 base pressure, which is necessary vs Zerg

Stephano didn't know 8 gate pressure was coming. He was playing appropriately for what he scouted -- he simply didn't scout well enough. Not a matter of greed. Or was he supposed to sit on 2 base vs a FFEing protoss..?

Who loses to this kind of strategy nowadays? He only lost because he didn't scout the pylon. If the push was delayed enough for inori to make a new pylon stephano had enough production to defend even with 2-3 spines he can win, and he already scout 6 additional gates, it mean at least 7 gatess Where would you build the spine crawlers... He has no idea where inori will hit him.. and he can't build 10 crawlers on both bases because he needs the production Did he even scout the hidden 3rd? 3-5 Spines at the natural would probably be enough

Lolwut? You think "gg" doesn't mean "good game". I understand the show of sportmanship, but there are definitely other ways to show it than "gg". I personally hate the phrase because I would very rarely classify a game I lost as "good". Obviously it wasn't because I lost (played badly).
