Also lost his phoenix very sloppily.
Cuz it is better to invest this 400 minerals in warping dead zealots from your dead warpgates...
Btw, that was sad, but hero has an awesome future, he is such a great player

1) Puma is actually pretty damn good. He beat MC in NASL with non 1-1-1 builds. 2) Hero did make some mistakes. He a) Lost his phoenix for a few SCVs. b) Built a nexus when he shouldn't have, he knew Puma wasn't mining. c) Engaged terribly. In the last battle his force field was off and actually made it harder for the zealots to get to the marines.
I still don't like the DT play (Tester tried it vs DeMuslim) against the 1-1-1. Way too risky and an autolose if you don't do damage.
Hero have like 800 mineral left without wrapgate because it is destroyed so he threw down the nexus, ., it did not hurt him so much, hero is also out of gas after the 2nd geyser when down from siege up tank. But that all in from Puma is disgusting, Hero did a lot of thing right in 3 games and still manage to lose )

Both outplay him by a mile yet he still wins by 1/1/1ing. As soon as 1/1/1 and ghosts are actually fixed his TvP will drop dramatically.
Sure man, keep believing that. Its not like Puma won in Macro games vs a dominant MC in some NA tournament....

flash losing to cheese I would say the same thing that the better player lost.

Should've invested in that 800 mins in more gates for defense.
really? because when someone is outside your base the first thought in your head is damn i should toss down some gates that are no way going to finish in time
On October 09 2011 03:57 Eschaton wrote: Here come the complaints about Puma cheesing, after defending a proxy stargate and fighting DTs.
Puma didn't cheese, he used a very strong all-in strategy that takes almost impossible control from the Protoss player to stop. The Proxy Stargate was to delay the build, DTs were in reaction to the build to stop the second wave by doing economic damage. Because Terran can bring all his SCVs but still make a second attack-wave
Pretty sure it's cheese when you bring 20 scv's to attack with you when you are on one base =.='

both players cheesed , puma had better decision making (or heroes was just bad (the nexus)) but somehow people on hero. :|
Go dig a hole and get inside. PROXY IS NOT CHEESE!!!!!!! And nothing that toss does can compare to 1-1-1. Also, Hero made lots of better decisions in that one game. I don't know why I am answering to you.

Here messed up so many times, from the beginning when he cancelled the void, to the end when he built a useless nexus.
Because when the protoss makes a few tiny mistakes loses automatically and terran can fuck their shit up all day and still win with a build that has no counter. That is not balance.
What the fuck did you expect him to do with money that can't be spent because of lost production.
If HerO had won...would people not be complaining about cheese? He went proxy Stargate into DTs...
But because Terran won, Terran is the ultimate cheeser. It was one base vs one base and cheesy strats on both sides from the start.
I understand that people are cheering for the Liquid player and the Protoss hope but I don't know, it just seems silly to me how biased people can be.
I don't really enjoy watching games like this, but that's what I took from it. I hate the huge amount of Terrans in GSL too, but I don't get all the Puma hate.
