I don't know why GSL November Champion wasn't seeded into this. If MVP wins WCG, they can either invite second place there, 5th place in GSL rankings which would be Polt, or Jjakji.

No freaking way Tastosis sits out the Blizzard Cup. It's the culmination of the entire year for the GSL. 10 players, all champions of major tournaments (only Naniwa is questionable but he does have an MLG win and 2nd in the finals). And there aren't any other tournaments going on this month. Got to be tastosis casting.

So his championship is from MLG Dallas which might not be considered a "major tournament". Not saying he's not deserving, but I didn't want to get into a semantic argument about "major champions".

I think he's equally questionable as Stephano, or a bit more considering Stephano actually won a tournament to qualify. About MC.. I hope you're trolling, GSL has awarded long-year performance by giving invitations to Blizz cup. MC is by far the most accomplished Protoss in the world, and has 2 championships. Were the system based around recent results, I'd agree with you, but being as it is, MC is more than deserving of the slot.

that's the important spot, IMO, huge potential to be someone unknown or something...

MVP (slight chance of MKP or Supernova) Then they give the spot to Polt or Jjakji. Moving on.

I'm on the opinion it's not going to be won by any Code A/S Korean. It will wither be a Foreigner (not likelly) or someone else unexpected.... don't know....

So who exactly do you think will win?

Totally fan of stephano, but Naniwa deserve it as welll he won MLG Global Invitational, you cannot say he didn't won anything to qualify. Too bad for now there is only 2 foreigner. Nerchio considering he is not a full time programmer( leaving his Polish WCG slot to Slider) deserve also a place in blizzard cup, he cleary is one of the top zerg foreigner with Stephano. And Huk, the only one who did consistent result since the beta of SC2 and finishing first in MLG Raleigh, Homestory Cup 3(where he beat Naniwa), DH Summer, MLG Orlando). GOMTV-Blizzard need to give a spot to a foreigner if none of them win WCG(gogogo ToD). The Foreigner Fan Base community is 1000% bigger than the Koreans. It's a good reason for me. Who will be pick (Idra, Kas, Ret, White-Ra???).

I believe a foreign player could win, simply because of how much the Koreans are outnumbered, and that MVP and MKP have both shown that they can be beaten, so it's not impossible.

MMA is already invited, yesterday during the final the commercial for the Blizzard Cup listed MMA as a player.
