Ok, so we have from the GSL rankings:

1.MVP
2.Nestea
3.MC
4.MMA

From Blizzcon:

1.MVP
2.Nestea
3.Sen

That's a total of 5 players, who will be filling up 4 spots. Now, there are numerous ways too look at this:

From a purely preformance point of view it would make sens to have either MVP or Nestea take the Blizzcon seed and give the third GSL seed to MMA. There is little doubt that MMA has achieved more than Sen during the last year. Another good argument for MMA is the racial balance. With only 1 Terran currently qualified and already 4 Zergs ready for the action it would make sense to bring in another T. The fact that MMA was a single game away from earning his spot through the yearly ranking points makes it tough not to acknowledge that he should be "next in line".

On the other hand: MMA didn't make the top 3. Sure, Sen didn't win Blizzcon either, but he was only beat by players who were already qualified (I believe it was impossible for both MVP and Nestea to bumped down to 4th, but I might be wrong). Also, with GSLs wish to promote foreign participation, this is definitely an opportunity to bring more diversity to the Cup.

At the end of the day, though, I believe MMA should get the seed, if only for the already dominating amount of zergs qualified.

MMA should get the spot without a millisecond of doubt.

Winning GSL + an MLG this year.. I'd say that is a much harder feat than qualifying through the SEA region!

Agreed. I play Protoss but only one Terran would not be too fun. At least MVP can be expected to make it far so we're not likely to have no Terrans in the semis.

Yeah, too many Z's would be pretty lame. It would be great to get someone like MMA in there, though it seems like the system is already established so it looks unlikely for him
