Whatever he does people find ways to discredit his achievement. Now we reached the cheating accusation :D
Oh, how I wish he decided to go train in Korea for a few months and show that (whether?) he can actually kick ass just as much as top Koreans.

I think its jelousy mostly. Everyone say you need korean training to become the best but somehow Stephano is a freak and just destroys koreans and the best foreigner all the time. So its a slap in the face to many. He clearly is very special

Naniwa did it for his game vs Tarson in Battlenet EU Invitational. Polish stream was switched with english one to play for the audience. I can bet than more of 60% of the crowd would be unable to understand the commentary if it was in english... it's an event in France, a lot of French (especially gamers) suck at english, French is the official language in France and the majority of the crowd is French, there is no reason to not cast in french. France is not sweden, we suck at english.

![]() Also I am really amazed how Grubby did once more, he started this game a lot later then most of the other contenders. His improvement thanks to a month Korea is insane, his forcefield play is pretty uniqiue he uses them so different then other players I really like that. I wouldn't be too surprised too see Grubby ending as a No. 1 in one of the major tournaments any day soon.

Do you want to know the sad and honest truth as to why? Because the majority think he's just some unknown who showed up at IPL and happened to be good and won. When Stephano has been around for as long as any of these players and has been tearing it up in EU tournaments for some time now. This community also has this perception that if the tournament is not GSL or MLG, it's not important. Why? I have absolutely no idea.

Yeah people hate overhype, that's why every other day a new cult of personality spawns up around a caster, or a translater, or some chick who knows nothing about esports. People don't like him because the stamp of approval to fawn over him hasn't been handed down from those on high. Being blunt and not pretending everything he does is purely for the fans is another reason.

But, actually , i am not sure heard this caster is an advantage, they are pretty bad, casting at copper level, too much mistake , some people love them just for the show... if he could hear, he probably lost this tournament :D
