HOW. DID. THAT. HAPPEN.
holy moly, that first game we saw of dimaga on TDA... Dimaga was playing horribly...like so bad....dunno if he is out of shape, or just a fluke day/series....including the 1st game.
Especially the ending of the last games... He just stopped making units. I'm just not sure what was happening there.
Congrats to IdrA on a series of great performances. Some of the most fun I've had watching SC2 torunaments so far.

Holy crap Idra won? I knew something was up when this thread was 250+ pages.

Nothing to be surprised about here- Idra's always been capable of taking top tournaments. It's usually just his own self-defeating mindset that's held him back. Also Puma doesn't have the 'practicing in a team house in Korea advantage' anymore.

Great to see Idra back in some sort of shape. Was getting so used to Idra having some sort of mental breakdown. Hope he can keep his shit together in the future aswell, That should make him a contender in any tournament.
But I dont know, Idra broke my heart at Columbus, this doesnt make up for it quite yet.

Actually, Puma still practices in the TSL house, and he has his regular practice partners in Korea.
Idra got a ton of practice defending multi-pronged harasses with all the practice games with Puma, and Idra was playing well, Puma not so much, and Puma made a couple small, but devastating mistakes.
It does seem that he is having a serious competitive attitude towards SC2 now, though, which is excellent. I hope to see some improvement from him in the future, when he goes to korea.

For those wondering on the APM part. Pulling up some sample games in SC2gears gives Elfi an APM of 110ish and Idra at 230ish. Hasu was at 260 and Puma at 300. So Idra saying Elfi was "slow" isn't that much of an insult ^^;

I am pretty sure those numbers were from last patch. Idra apm in last patch was ~170+. Now chart should show lower numbers. But 230 avg? Or are you just looking at real time numbers?

Awesome that IdrA finally one another Tourney, especially after he almost lost in the group stages. I would have never thought that he would make it after day 2
