In game 1: Outplayed Elfi for 15 minutes, didn't get Broodlords fast enough because he thought a 3 base Protoss would run out of money after 25 minutes of being destroyed in army exchanges. Classic Roach Hydra Corrupter flaw, which is why everyone moved away form this playstyle. In game 2: Elfi's max phoenix+ Zealot pressure forced IdrA to get Hydralisks, which as most players know, is another word for winning the game. I have always thought that Protoss should do stargate openings every game: At the worst you prevent all-ins, force spores + queens, and kill overlords, and at best you can force hydras and switch to colossus. | ||
