Yeah, i was really disapointed when i saw Dimaga lost. I felt he could of taken the tournament and beaten Puma in the finals but now i cant see anyone who may be able to take Puma out. Hasu and Elfi doing well but Puma so good vs Protoss its not funny. I'd like to see if elfi has any curve ball builds to throw at Puma tho so i hope to see that final. One thing that i find funny is how many people are dismissing Idra as not with a chance vs Puma. I hope he does win, but only so we get a European Brotoss Champion =D =D

By constantly using the hardest (read as: "imba?") build for Protoss to stop, it forces Protoss to figure out the metagame (eventually) or Blizzard to eventually step in. In other words, it causes progress. Go Puma! ![]()

Hating on Puma for using the 1-1-1 build is also absurd. JYP isn't going to win a macro game against Puma, isn't going to win a 2-base against Puma and isn't going to win a 1-base against Puma. At some point, the player is obviously weaker. See: Mvp vs Huk. Did Mvp 1-1-1? Didn't have to. He destroyed him with pure mechanics, better macro and a greater skill set. Each successive game where the opponent is getting shredded leaves his mind in tatters. There aren't going to be many people whose egos aren't bruised after being demolished by Mvp regardless of his opening build. Huk and JYP are good Protoss players. At the end of the day, Mvp and Puma are on a different level respectively. MvP is on a different planet than Puma. Puma won because he's better than JYP, but it's still just a Code B player beating a Code A player in his worst matchup. Puma lost to Mana remember?
