That was same for me, but after seeing i'd get billed 3.xx€ I didn't care anymore xD There aren't a lot of vods worth watching too. MMA vs Nestea was good The whole Naniwa/Boxer/July group too. Not sure about group A, don't remember. Tomorrow is 2 mirrors, so it's skip-able. (even if DRG vs Losira in GSTL showed that ZvZ can be great, but recent July ZvZ was terrible). The finals should be good tho, whatever combination of those 4 players it'll be.
I know some people don't like hyper aggressive games. However, MKP vs July might produce some of the craziest game in sc2 so far. Or i guess they might be 1 sided 10 minute games.

I really hope July can take the tournament. He's one of my favorite BW players (after iloveoov and sAviOr), so here's hoping the God of War smites the competition!
MKP is always iffy these days it seems (though he's still got the fun where it counts), but I think MMA is just too good. And I honestly don't see July's ZvZ being able to beat DRG's in a Bo5.
i'm pretty sure mma has this in the bag, judging by both players' recent results i'd easily give this to mma, wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even drop a game. but shit happens, you never know.

GSPA first MMA won 3-2 in the winners bracket and then again in the tournament finals he won 3-1. Both players barely lost a game the entire tournament except vs each other but MMA came out on top both times.

MMA played some of the dumbest games I have ever seen him play. I can't picture him not taking this tournament seriously....wtf was he doing. MKP also played totally retarded but not nearly as retarded as MMA.

Yeah, I've opened the stream late with no problems before, so not sure. See if Gom has a tech support / help service, might be more productive than raging about it here. I know it's frustrating, but it may be something on your end or at least something that can be fixed.

Seriously, those were some of the most retarded games I've ever seen. He kills a lot of scv so MKP has no other option than to kill him 1 basing. He had a fully operating expansion, but only has a naked barrack, techlab fact and starport. He over made vikings out of the startport for whatever reason, floated 500 minerals all the time.
July actually played really well there. Suprisingly well. He does have the advantage of not having GSL to prepare for while DRG is preparing for terran.

mkp tvt is pretty good, remember the only person who has his head for TvT is mvp, when hes not playing against him then never count MKP out against any terran. Recently he also beat bomber in team league also so ..
Poor July, he played well in the games he won. He looks like he's still trying to find his style in ZvZ... In that last game, if he had gotten his Baneling Nest first instead of the second Queen, I think he would have been able to defend.
DRG vs MKP looks like a fun finals though. DRG is the most cheese-proof Zerg when it comes to ZvT, and MKP is the cheesiest Terran.

I just watched it went to five games.
Game 1 - both players get to mutas on DayBreak, however, july manages to baneling a ton of drones and is ahead in economy and has more mutas. He then attacks with more mutas and a ton of zerglings and wins out by having more mutas. July wins
Game 2 - Crossfire and DRG does 1 base roach. July manages to not scout it until its at his front door and oses because he went hatch first and had no roaches of his own. DRG wins
Game 3 - Dual Sight and both players do 14 gas 14 pool, DRG goes for the hatch, but July tries the baneling 1 base all-in and DRG manages to block the ramp with 2 queens. Critically, July just amoves into the queen blocking the ramp and loses all his banelings without killing any drones, he was also supply blocked after DRG kills off his overlord. So, DRG wins from there as July cannot expand and the extra production of 2 bases is too much
Game 4 - Antiga and July hatch first, and DRG 14g14p. DRG manages to suicide 2 overlords in cross positions, and puts him WAY behind in drones. He expands and July does a baneling ling rush with the huge supply advantage and kills off some drones and goes up 54 to 30 drones, and techs to mutas and throws up 600 spines. DRG goes roach rush, but cannot break through the spines and mutas win the game for July.
Game 5 - Bel'Shir - DRG 14g14p, July hatch first - this game DRG does the baneling all-in, July is well prepared with 2 queens and a spine, but botches the defense and nearly every baneling breaks through and get into the main. Then, he loses all his lings to one baneling and DRG cleans up the drones. DRG wins

july played really good, if he can become less sloppy with his units his ZvZ will be top notch aswell, and ZvZ is really what has been holding him back.
So much negativity about these games, they were quick and interesting. I wouldn't rank them as high as some of the other epic games we've seen from any of these players however.
I think MMA was trying to do some new strategies which didn't particularly work against MKP. For July vs DRG, they were just the fast and aggressive Zerg plays you see, and I do think that July has improved in his ZvZ a bit.
But MKP vs DRG finals will be interesting. I am betting on DRG to win, despite MKP being good in "events"
MKP actually had a chance the last time he TvZ in a finals. However, DRG is just too scary in the matchup. I dont see marineking getting 4-0d like MVP did, but probably closer to a 4-2/4-3.

There's nothing off about MMA's play. This is just how he always plays. Against players who are standard, his style looks great as he's greedy and outplays them in mid-late game with better economy and multitasking. Against Prime players who exploit every early/midgame weakness, he's completely screwed. His control looked off because he was busying dying/defending.
