Because I don't think someone with 0 multi-tasking capabilites (took him until he had around 3 probes lefy on his mineral line to realise there were zealots there) to win at that level.

And plus he 4 gated most of those games. It's hard to see someone's skill when they purely 4 gate

No.

Just because Elfi takes games off of HuK doesnt mean he is better.

This is the nature of PvP.

I'm gonna argue that Elfi is better than HuK in PVP. Maybe not overall, but HuK's best matchup has not traditionally been that one.

what i saw was elfi outmicroing and multitasking huk in the early game, huk just played bad today and elfi is really good

Why the fuck you people cry about 4gate. Is it elfis fault HuK's build isnt capable of holding 4gate? Please stop bitching "lol elfi wins with 4gate, he didnt deserve it" and learn how this game works, if not, then get the fuck out.

Elfi played it smarter, but theres people saying elfi is the best player which he obviously isnt.

Honestly if Dimaga wins against SeleCT then I don't think he can be stopped. I'm guessing IdrA will sweep his side of the bracket and IdrA vs Dimaga will be a roflstomp.

Sure...not like Huk was jet-lagged since he travelled from Korea, where he plays in GSL...where your "better" player Elfi doesnt and never will be playing ^^

Blizzard? lol
How are you supposed to defended 4 gate without a sentry...?

With top 3 control? :D. On topic, i think HuK underestimated Elfi, so ... well deserved.

I can't wait to see Elfi winning MLG and being code S in the GSL.

Huk will be out of Code S fairly quickly with the new system.

Lol what? HuK's been getting past group stages and usually winning in the ro32 consistently. You have no idea how the new GSL works, do you?

Only players who make the Ro8 are guaranteed a spot in code S the following season. Huk has only managed that once.

HuK played really sloppy. He is probably the better player but didn't deserve to win this bo5. Grats to elfi. elfi fighting~!

I missed the first series, can I get an unbiased summary of each game ( yes I know many 4gates but what led to each player coming out on top in the games they won?).

Huk still failed miserabely, I sort of knew Elfi was going to take it, even though I wanted Huk to win preety bad. Too bad he doesn't stand a chance against select or dimaga. As he stated, his PvZ is horrible and select is just really, really good.

Maybe he didnt just care about his probes when he saw that he had 100% win already?

Elfi's PvP is just straight up better than Huk's. For a "random" matchup he's attained a remarkable level of consistancy in it and that showed again today. It doesnt matter if you didnt like the builds he used, because at the end of the day he won and Huk could have used them too. Elfi's doing really well in tournaments recently, he deserves credit

In this case, HuK also gets to play a showmatch for $1k on Sunday as well as chill out and enjoy Helsinki so it's probably the most player friendly live invitational you can think of.

With Huks "top 3 control" he should easily hold these shitty non skill required 4gates amirite?

I think it will be a roflstomp too, Idra's ZvZ is pretty insane.
