BUT, TB, coming into this thread and bitching out people watching an event is idiotic. I'm not saying they're right, I'm saying whether they're right or wrong you can do nothing but hurt yourself and the tournaments you cast with this behavior. Your value as a caster is directly linked to your popularity, and pissing off sc2 fans is just stupid. The only two casters who are unprofessional enough to come into threads and argue with fans are you TB, and Incontrol, and both of you receive incredibly negatives responses when you do so. Ignoring haters is the only acceptable response of a professional. Can you imagine a football caster getting into a pissing contest with a random fan? When a player gives fans the finger they get fined thousands of dollars for a reason. It reflects badly upon yourself, your team, and your profession. Idk, I kinda enjoy watching TB posting in LRs making an ass out of himself and making haters instead of fans.... Coming here and posting like everyone in these threads is an idiot is not the way to make fans yeah.

It was more interesting than Games 1 and 2 of the last series I thought anyway.

And as an additional point I guess I could have added that no caster is universally loved =p

Whitera has awful PvP, what are they talking about?

I really laugh all this fuss because everyone who is saying "I am am intelligently and rightly criticizing etc etc..", or engaging in a discussion furiously on another topic, they forget this is a LR thread in the first place, LR threads are not for clashing opinions on certain things, it has to include info about the game for those can't watch from work etc.
Please push your intelligence more and stop fighting...

And there we're some wrong calls, like that hydra drop that got away, not picked off. No big deal however.
Only accepting criticism from caster and progamers is a really bad idea.
You should take advice from your audience. It doesn't matter if every progamer in the world thinks your a good caster if the rest of the people think you are bad you wont get viewers.
TB you really need to just stop reading Live Reports if you are going to get this upset at comments it just looks bad

I can take criticism, I am pointing out that the criticism is shit. You think I or anyone else should sit here and thank people for posting dumb things on this forum? If you can't be constructive, then you are of no use. Amusing isn't it, how community members often think to post that I can't take criticism and yet throw up their hands in grave offense whenever I don't treat their comments as pure internet gold. They are the random, unjustified and badly written remarks of a spectator, after the game has finished. The criticism isn't shit, multiple people in this thread have told you that Idra won those engagements pretty handily. No wonder Idra thinks you're a shit caster. You have little knowledge and lots of ego. Hahaha, once again the random forum guy strikes. You have no idea what my relationship with IdrA is or what he actually thinks. Stop calling things that haven't happened, you and Apollo did it about 5 times in that last series. Oh look, yet more useful feedback with no actual information. God LR threads are so amazing. You called the death of the Hatchery multiple times before it happened, you called a warp in from the warp prism when he was at 200/200 anyway... you are too ignorant and stubborn to take any real constructive feedback on board. Stop this ffs. There is no sense to bitch about everything. These events are entertainment not an angry fest. I can bitch about your comment too, whitera was 200/200 but phased his prism, so himself didn't notice it. Commentating is a hard job, you have to provide entertainment and hype for every situations, and also provide analysis and good hindsight. While bitching on TL require nothing than a shity mind.
Where in this rabble of crap is a reason there is no need for improvement? You should always strive to get better not just accept mediocrity.

Stupid people posted stupid things then get offended when I told them how stupid they were. Didn't Idra say you were a horrible caster during IPL that led to some angry twitter tantrum? We were drinking last night and laughing about the stupid things that get posted on forums. Apt considering. I apologized in my second post and you ignored that and started flaming someone else. The only one getting offended here is you. I could make a very detailed explanation of why I think Idra attacked and pulled back perfectly and never lost more resources than he could afford, but that is completely not the point of the argument. "I could prove your criticism wrong but instead I'm just going to sit hear whining about how upset you've made me" And therein we come down to the entire crux of the problem I have with people like you. Calling someone stupid is constructive criticism? You have lost yet another fan this day. Good luck casting the rest of the tournament.

Totally agree+ Pretty sure any other user posting as TB did in this LR would get so moderated ...

I don't really listen that much to what's said during commentary though so I don't really care, just like having something to listen to. But as day9 said on SotG, if you're doing this kind of stuff you should probably drop your ego, which I don't think you have ^_^.
Some of it was. I tend to see when I read these that the constructive stuff is just met with silence or "lol you're wrong".
Couldn't agree more about the ego stuff. People have opinions, some of them will be bad. If you take it personally then you're always going to end up where we are now with a shit-storm of flame. Why not just take the actual feedback, maybe even acknowledge that you may be wrong and that you'll have a look at it, and ignore the rest?
Personally I think that'll bring a million times better thread quality, rather than flaming people because their criticism "doesn't count" in your eyes, which is an utterly brainless position.
