I'm honestly starting to think that there isn't much of a difference between the top foreigners' mirror match-ups and those of top Koreans. Foreigners taking down Koreans in PvPs, ZvZs, and TvTs do not seem that surprising anymore. It's the other match-ups that foreigners really have issues with.

Lets not get carried away.

I think it's a bit generous to call Lots a top Korean lol

Alicia is decent.

The last 2 players SlayerS sends will be their top tier.

Yeah... was anyone else super excited to see the best players of SlayerS vs. TL... and then kind of upset that these other guys are coming out?

Ummm...it's not even over yet. Have you seen GSTL? People send out their weaker players first.

And TL doesn't have that many players to choose from.

I would love to see any liquid player just smash everyone slayers sends out, but I also would love to see it go to 9 games with a liquid win.

Not sure which I should hope for.

Huh? All I said was that I didn't see him get any upgrades. That makes it even more impressive what he did.

I hope it goes to the last match and Slayers sends Boxer out as their ace. I will cry tears of joy.

Edit: Boxer vs Nony, preferably

It's just a hunch based on the results I've seen, which isn't limited to this match ofc. Each MLG seems to have a few of those games where foreigners do extraordinarily well against top Koreans, and they tend to be mirrors.

We haven't seen any yet. (Arguably, we haven't seen any top foreigners, either, though. I'm a big fan of both Haypro and Jinro, but they're both struggling.)

Didn't see any lag. Jinro just outplayed Lots for the comeback.

I agree, but in both games it felt like Lots was a bit slow to respond to a number of attacks/harassments - not just the one vs Jinro. I was merely wondering what the biggest impact of cross server lag was in general :v

this is probably because those matchups are the most volatile and are the hardest to play a solid macro style in, as well as different allins are more expected, in general because they are more volatile players of lesser mechanical skill can generally win games in PvP/ZvZ, while TvT its all about the positioning it would seem, which can be somewhat of a coinflip to see who gets it and then that player has a huge advantage
