I really wish you fools would stop blaming imbalance every time a protoss plays poorly and loses. Hero deserved to lose. It was a standard and pretty easy to hold allin. MC deserved to lose -- did you not see the same final two games of the set I did? Naniwa... well yeah... Huk has been traveling (and not really practicing) for a while now. And did anyone really think Puzzle would win in a group made up of Bomber, Ryung, and MKP?

Just face it: protosses have been losing in this GSL because they played worse than their opponent. Maybe there is a valid case for imbalance, but you have to find an example where the protoss player isn't just losing because they were supply blocked, or because their strategy was idiotic.

Such a disappointing GSL overall so far. Hoping for some Toss to make it to Up and Down at least..

Grats to Yugioh. This guy has been in code a for EVERY season ever since code a/s existed.
Even when he was knocked out in the first round 3 times, he made it back through the code a qualifers every single time. Surviving in the ever competitive code a for so long is seriously no easy feat.

why is HerO a better player than yugiOh? :/

If yugioh was as good as Hero or better, why would he cheese on Dual Sight?

Maybe he was tired? XD

But YuGI won the 2nd game pretty convincingly so lets not sell him short

Why shouldn`t he cheese? Since when does a cheese here and there mean you are a bad player? Have you ever watched broodwar? Not every single game has to be macro. There is mind games involved when playing a series.

Cant even complain about that, useless dt shrine in first game, then useless archives as well iirc. Then just saccing an army :/ And in the second game he tried to be overly cool with his probe, then didnt scout the missing natural expansion

Its dissapointing because he usually plays soo much better then this I hope they just remove the dt shrine from the game, it lures better players in trying stupid stuff

pretty much. his losses had nothing to do with balance.

Lost 2nd game cos of bad DT play, lost 3rd game cos he was too greedy. At least HerO is still in Code A, I'm sure we'll see him do much better next season. Or perhaps he can take MLG for a insta code S ;P

I think GSL needs to do another open season tournament. maybe that would help the race balance. it would at least clear out some of the dead wood in code A and Code S

It was reactive to killing the probe, just good decision making. On a map with a wide natural like that he was going to do significant damage with that opening even if hero did react properly.

I am a Hero fan, but YuGiOh has been consistently in Code A while Hero has not. Both are great players, but saying Hero is definitively better at this point is a stretch... he's very talented and has so much potential.

Also: nothing wrong with using cheeses, even if you're the better player. If it will allow you to win most of the time why wouldn't you take it?

Might have been a snap decision after killing Hero's probe early on with drones.

Thats probably the first time ive seen a protoss eliminated that didnt leave a bad taste in my mouth as of late. Ordinarily its obvious that at least a part of it had to do with balance [not every elimination, just the degree of the outcome] but game 2, hero getting all his zealots caught by infesters was his own fault. Game 3, really doesnt matter what patch it is or anything, if you do a fast expand and dont see an all in coming you should expect to lose. It's unfortunate as I'd preferred him to advanced, but oh well. These things happen.

yeah i don't get why hero is better, yugioh has been in every code a season meanwhile hero has failed to qualify.

good god TL is biased.

Yeah, TL is so biased in favor of Zergs, it's sickening. No way did yugioh outplay hero.

game 2 he absolutely outplayed Hero. Game 3, he made a risky call and Hero didn't respond correctly. In a way he definitely out played him because Hero just didnt play well

Because it's a Bo3?...Mindgames are still important, anyway it was a gamesense fail there after scouting no expo, so u can't say Hero was better.
