Anybody that has lag is probably from EU. Go to SC2 General forums and find the thread called "Dreamhack Valencia Sv.Streaminfo" on the 6th page there is a great guide on how to buy the swedish stream for 10 cents and how to cancel it once youve bought it so they dont overcharge you. I got it and no more lag. It's worth it.

poor play by rain

Rain opened 4 rax after fast expanding and committed 17+ marines, 2 scvs and a canceled bunker to an early push that did nothing. It was a super aggressive opening after an eco first and it did. not. work.

He killed ~8 probes.

No he didn't lol

ya he did lol

I remember that he stopped SCV production and was behind by 13 food after the engagement, he killed not more than 4 probes.

they showed the worker killed somewhere in the fight, it was 5-1, so yer, not close to 8, think he got 5, since the scouting probe i think survived.

Rain had to travel for 50 hours to get to the event thanks to a fuckton of delays. I'd imagine he's in absolutely horrible condition sadly.

lol 50 hours

Did you not hear they flew around the earth twice in order to get to España!

Please fix your signature, it's breaking the layout.

So they've got the same guy doing stream control. Love it. Coined DreamHuK and did a fantastic job running things smoothly last time around!

LOL so ignorant. TvP is a ridiculously hard matchup right now. The only build with mild success is 1-1-1 and its not too difficult for toss to stop if they scout whatsoever. Not really surprised to see him losing to naniwa.

What?? Exactly what cave have you been hiding in for the last couple of months?

TvP in korea is like 65% win rate for Terran. 1-1-1 crushed the matchup and cannot be countered easily even when scouted. In the midgame, most good terrans will snipe key tech structures with marauder drops and then proceed to EMP protoss army to death. It is only in the lategame when TvP looks better.

He's been the best NA based player since he moved. He is without doubt something special outside of Korea.

Smashing through the open bracket during Raleigh and coming out top of his pool is nothing special, noted. You have something against him?

It would really suck for Rain if he get's knocked out after such a travel time. But the more foreigners, the better. And the less Terran, the better as well..

He had crazy delays reroutes, maybe not 50 hours, but probably painful either way

Rain has been travelling for like 50+ hours or something, from America, missed connection and now delays so bad

About to go pick up Rain from the airport, poor guy missed his connection and has been traveling for about 40+ hours. #DHVLC #dreamhack

He was in code S from the start, until he left it through choice, thats pretty impressive. And he's managed to compete with the MLG Korean invites, despite living in New York for the last couple of months. What other 'foreigner' can claim that?

Rain was perhaps not "special", but he was always in the top, competing in Code S which, quite honestly, surpasses any and all of Naniwa's past achievements.

3-4 probes would be a more accurate number by the looks of it. He lost a similar amount trying to get the bunker up at his nat anyway so bottom line is it was a really unsuccesful early game move by Rain.
