Yesterday was a blast, thanks to all who tuned in !

So far, the qualified are :

Nerchio 16
Adelscott 8
Satiini 8
ALF 8
Fuzer 6
Lalush 6
Kas 6

We then have to choose 5 persons in the 4 points category :

Beastyqt 4
PhoeNix 4
FocusMyHead 4
Roll 4
NightEnd 4
jimpo 4
White 4
DeathAngel 4

We will try to choose the best players based on their performance during game and we want to try and provide a final with an as equal as possible number of players from each race, so that's taken into account in our choice.

In case a qualified player can't make it, we will ask someonelse from the 4points and then 2points category.

I'll keep you updated on that and on the 4 invites. We have some great ideas, we're waiting for players answers.

See you soon !

That is, sadly, rigth. It will all be online, there was a last minute change in the PGW staff and we can't comply to their demands.

Bracket going up really soon (after all we're starting in 30 minutes), seems like we have a last minute forfeit so we need to find a new player.

We're having issues with the bracket but since we're just playing half the RO16 today, it's not that big a deal.

Forcing players to play with major lag issues is an absolute idiotic decision from the admins. This isn't the only issue with this tournament as announcing a LAN final when nothing is guaranteed is also not a smart choice. Everything should have been locked in with contracts for the LAN final so that PGW couldn't make late demands...

I'm not in the confidence for PGW, i'm just a caster, so i can't comment on that.

On the lag issue, we tried to make them play the game Tomorrow but Alf isn't available so we can't make them play later.

Please bare with us, it's our first cup of this amplitude and planning that between MLG, Blizzcon, PGW (ESWC) has really been aweful and we're doing everything we can to try and give a smooth experience.

Please PM OrigineTV for any complaints, i'm trying to keep this topic for results.

Due to the DreamHack qualifiers, the Adelscott vs MorroW game can't be played tonight and will be played the same day as the finals.

Because of that, we're starting at 21:00 CEST with (in order) :

Nerchio vs Lalush
Grubby vs Satiini
Kas vs Beastyqt

Be sure to tune in =)

I have to agree. Some of the least fun ZvZs I've seen...

But anyways, Nerchio vins 2-1 against Lalush.

Now it's time for Grubby vs Satiini !

It's also going to be the last match tonigth as Beasty and Kas both can't make it.
Their match is going to be played alongside Adelscott vs Morrow and the RO4 on Sunday.

that was an amazing game still can't belive that grubby pull this off, i feel that satiini's biggest mistake was leaving this bottom location to mine for too long if few marines/marauders sniping the probes and this one was over. still gg grubby fighting

Sorry for the no english stream guys, our casters didn't warn us in time.

I'm making my priority to get an english stream for Sunday because the games are going to be sick.

See you Sunday ! I'll update the main post with the exact time when it's decided.

Thanks all.

As a Grubby fan I am happy and sad at the same time - 3rd game was definitely Satinii´s game to lose and not Grubby outplaying him. I don´t want to take anything away from Sats - he is quite good, but if the Grubbster wants to play with the big boys he really needs more consistency in his gameplay. Nevertheless GO GRUBBY!

As usual, there are going to be some changes in the schedule because well, things never goes as planned or it would be too easy.

Tune in in 20 minutes (at 20:00) for Kas vs Beastyqt and the winner of that vs Nerchio.

We should also be streaming Morrow vs Adelscott but the match vs Grubby is going to be postponed to Tuesday with the finals because of Battle in Berlin.

I'll have to check with my manager for the replays, but i do believe a replay pack will be available on our website. If this is the case, i'll make sure to link it here and updated the frontpage.

The 3minutes replays isn't actually that good :p

By the way, the finals are today ! Morrow vs Grubby ! The winner of that goes against Nerchio in the grand finals while the looser goes against Beastyqt in the 3rd place.

Be sure to tune in at 20:00 cet.

What do you do when zergs get that composition? :/

Pray for mothership + archon + storm to work out. I have yet to find a unit composition that actually wins vs that zerg lategame army

I wonder if in Game2, Carriers could actually be the best answer to mass BL's+Infestors+Spines.... Cuz you can't get attacked by either BL's nor Spines and if you split the carriers up, they could actually snipe Infestors....

On the other Hand, Grubby should've just warped in mass Speedlots all over morrows base, cuz you really need to punish the slow BL's or you don't stand a chance.

Mothership is the key in late game. Watch Huk stream, he makes the zerg drop 100+ supply in less than 5 seconds lol

Morrow has insane marine splits, however his overall terran play is not on par.

The idea was good, but he should have made a first push to prevent Nerchio from going fast Spire. And yeah, push at 4.

Anyways, great matches !

I heard your stream and I think morrow build had as goal to counter a Muta switch. I mean making a few roaches to counter Hellions in early game, then to switch mutalisk is a common build for a zerg. The big mistake Morrow did IMO is he didn't check the army composition of Nerchio for too long time. and this 2 times after he saw Nerchio doing a roaches/lings/infestors he was only beginning to tech on siege tank compo. (with a early agression vs muta/ling/banneling morrow timing was good, but not against a mass roaches composition ofc.)
